I just finished episode 11 and I can’t believe how excited I am for the next episode! I did not expect this from this anime!
When I first started watching this series, I was like “ok it’s like a light, slice of life, comedy , CGDCT with a hint of sports, looks fun “ and that’s how it was for the first few episodes.
But i was wrong, one night 2am in the morning I wanted to put on an episode of something relaxing to help me sleep so I put this on and I ended up binge watching like 5 or 6 episodes and

got so hype I had a even harder time sleeping then before I started it!
Half way thru the series, on top all the good things this show already has that I mentioned, the competition/ hype kicks in and it turns into an exciting sports anime! Did not expect this!
It turns into the most exciting all girl cast sports anime I’ve seen! Only 11 episodes are out at the moment and I’m itching to see episode 12! I really did not expect that from an anime that started out so mellow / slice of life! Definitely deserves a much higher score then the 6 range it has now.
If your a fan of Slice of life / all girls cast/ and sports anime ,definitely worth a try, don’t let the score discourage you! Has good comedy moments as well , especially the second half. Definitely has a lot of positive vibes and friendship vibes and over all just a happy show. Definitely going to add this to my list of “Animes to rewatch when I need to be cheered up”
As far as cons go I guess you could call it a slow starter, but I enjoyed the beginning (the slow part) too, it’s just just that it takes 5 or 6 episodes before the hype feeling starts to kick in.
This season of anime in general had a a lot of unexpected great shows, this is definitely one of them as well! Can’t wait for the last two episodes!

It’s so good! A must watch for all bizarre comedy and action fans! Score should be much higher!
I’m probably not saying anything that hasn’t been said already, but I just finished it and it’s so good 👍 lots of action , comedy and blood , extremely unique, great sense of dark humor, it’s serious but satirical at the same time, but underneath all the blood and dark humor it actually does have morales and a story. it’s great !
I’m probably over complicating it, in the end , its great fun bloody time! Best most unique action comedy anime maybe I’ve ever seen.

it too seriously and you should be able to enjoy it . But like others said if you watch a couple episodes and you hate it you probably should drop it. But if watch a couple and your on the fence, you should try to finish 👍 I stopped around half way thru but eventually finished it and I’m glad I did. I had great time watching till the very end ! 100% Recommend 👍
Ps some episodes have end scenes after the credits so be aware of that 👍

Carol Chan is Best girl
Should be the title for this anime
Great anime all around
People who like Rom Coms shouldn’t be disappointed
All the characters are really great, including the side characters and
Carol Chan is best girl

Seriously tho, all characters are really unique, not generic all , which is hard to find in rom coms
Even the male lead has great mix Cool / but petty , innocent / but knows .
Story is very character driven , great humor , no complaints
All characters are so so good ,that the sideiest of side characters, Carol is best girl
Great mix of cute/ clumsy/ Ditzy/ genius/ awkward/ awesome/ hilarious/ petty/ Adorbs
That seems so rare to me now days where I like a side character this much
Hence name should change Carol Chan is Best girl

Just watched Episode 4 , and it felt like the first Episode I actually enjoyed, made want to write a review.
The first 2 episodes seemed just awkward . I tend to not like Isekais where the MC can go back and forth between worlds so that was part of it but it also felt kind of all over the place. There was no flow. It felt like the creators were like “ Ou this would be cool let’s throw that in there “ “ Actually let’s add this too it will be even cooler!” And throwing a bunch of ingredients they thought were “cool”

in the pot without thinking about if it will actually blend well together. All That bad stuff being said I did keep watching, and I’m glad I did. If I did not , I would not have gotten to episode 4.
Episode 4 , was way more enjoyable to me then any other episode so far. For the first time I was like “oh so this is what this show is going to be like” . There was actually a flow and a some good humor ! I really like misunderstanding or miscommunication humor so I’m glad there was some of that in there. But finally it did not seem all over the place and actually felt like it had purpose. So I’m hoping the future episodes will be as good as this one, IF IT IS, I think it will turn out to be a fun , decent, slice of life , isekai that’s worth pushing through the first 3 episodes 👍

Don’t listen to the reviews trashing this anime based on the first episode, this Really is an anime that should have a score much higher (edit: at the time of writing I believe it was rated less than a 7). The first episode is a bit confusing, I did not know what to think at first but I’m at episode 5 now and it’s REALLY good. It just takes a couple episodes to understand what’s supposed to be serious and what’s meant to be funny, once you see what there doing, you realize it is a smart well thought out anime. Overlord and Konosuba , I love the misunderstanding/ miscommunication humor that’s used in Overlord a lot and this definitely has a slightly different version of that kind of humor.
Really it’s a level above the isekais that s been out recently, really fun and enjoyable, and I think that’s what matters. Are there plot holes? Sure but it is only episode 5, Also if someone told me to write a paragraph about what the MC is exactly thinking and feeling I would have a hard time. Im not sure to what level the miscommunication is at and not sure where the line is on what he thinks is real and what he thinks is “just for fun” but that makes it interesting too. If you like overlord I really do think you would like it so far, but again it’s only on episode 5 and I did not read the manga so you never know how it’s going to turn out, but if your just looking at episodes 1-5 of this anime vs episode 1-5 of Overlord, it’s very very close in terms of quality and enjoyment. Closest thing to Overlord in all the best ways I’ve seen and different enough that I’m very interested and excited for each episode every week. Great isekai so far!
