There isn't anything quite like the feeling of reading about a character/event/item and then finally seeing it 300 chapters later. Both series have outstanding world building some exceedingly well fleshed out characters and heaps of rich lore. Both have different pros and cons. OP is light-hearted with some dark moments. ToG has a dark tone throughout and a lot of death. Both have pretty good comedy, ToG's comedy gets a lot better as the series goes on. OP kinda devolves into running gags the further you get into the series but the comedic element is still pretty strong from the start. The webtoon format has longer chapters so both series are probably around the same length despite OP having double the chapters. Even though there are other long running series I prefer to these two I think they're easily the best at making use of every chapter with the insane worlds they've created and expanded upon.

Realistic depictions of martial arts. Holyland focusing on street fighting and Meguru on MMA. Both have extremely similar vibes.

Both these series were made to be experienced rather than watched and critiqued. Although they both feature vague plot elements and sporadic character development the main appeal comes from just sitting back and enjoying ride.

That positive "feel good" feeling you got from whichever of these series you've read you'll likely find in the other too. These 2 manga are very easy to read, a lot of fun the whole way through and more importantly just leave you feeling satisfied after almost every chapter.

The humor and randomness of these two series are so similar. Space Dandy is honestly just like an extra 12 episodes of Gintama with a different cast of characters. It's not just the comedy that's similar either, both series really deliver when it comes to the serious elements. If you're into all the comedy of Gintama you'll love Space Dandy and vice versa!

Shounen Maid

Anime about children who have just lost their parents being taken in by a relative who has no experience parenting. Both focus on the parent/child relationship and both have some great comedy as well as serious moments. Now tbh this review goes mostly one way as Shounen Maid appeals to a much smaller amount of people. Usagi Drop beats it in almost every aspect but nevertheless Shounen Maid is an enjoyable and very quirky anime, I'd urge you to give the first ep a go if you're put off by the title/synopsis and see what you think. Oh and if you're the 1% who's already seen Shounen Maid but not Usagi Drop then.... WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!!! Go Watch it right now! Seriously though almost every review of Usagi Drop describes it as a masterpiece.

If you like Fairy Tail you'll love KonoSuba, the anime very much so displays the aspects that appeal to most FT fans and make them love the show. If you enjoyed KonoSuba you will at the very least like the beginning of FT. Both these anime attract the viewers interest early on so don't worry about getting into them because you're going to know that this will be an anime you're going to relish within the first ep. Some factual similarities: - Fantasy - The settings are also pretty similar - Magic - A Guild - Not focused on in KonoSuba - Fun Characters - Good Comedy - KonoSuba does a lot better with comedy but FT is good too - Fan Service - About the same amount in each series, nothing too bad - Give off similar Vibes

Arslan Senki and One Piece are both incredible stories of a boy who sets out on an amazing adventure in order to become king and gain freedom. Both main protagonists are able to gain many followers as well as strong and loyal nakama to accompany them due there unique personalities. Both anime have a great contrast of humor as well as great seriousness that go well together. To anyone who likes One Piece you will definitely enjoy Arslan Senki the two anime are incredibly different but if 1 appeals to you the other is sure to do the same.
