This season would have been better as a 3 episode OVA. Most of it is filler, focusing on all of the side characters that have the least interesting and least funny personalities. The brocoli arc was pointless. Wasting 5 episodes on writing dimple off was a very inneficient use of episode space.
It would have been better to focus on the body improvement club characters during the filler episodes, instead of the loser club. The body improvement characters are funnier, worthy of being fleshed out, and most importantly they actually have an easy to see effect on Mob's psyche because of their relationship with him. The

Lack of character development. The closest thing we get is flashbacks explaining the back story of characters that have been on screen for 4 episodes now that they were expecting us to care about.
Ralphtalia just says the MC's name over and over, that's all she's going to do for the rest of the season. Basically gave her the Asuna treatment from SAO. Bad animation compared to last season the plot is a giant turtle and not revenge anymore all of the heros in the show act autistic constantly to the point where it's not even believable that they make the choices they make, besides the MC. The entire show feels like I'm watching a playthrough of only side missions in FF XV The first two episodes were introducing new characters, but they took the entirety of episode 3 to do a filler episode about.. eating buggs? Basically, it's about justice boy trying to stop a girl who can "talk to people and convince them to kill themselves within 60 seconds no matter who they are, man or woman" while also being a prostitute?
It's just too far fetched, by episode 5 we have large groups of people committing suicide because she apparently talked to them for a few seconds, so they all magically agree to jump off of a building in one big group. It's too unrealistic of a premise for me. I know it's an anime where anything can happen, but for anything to happen it would be nice if it actually ... |
