I like this series, but man has it been going on for too long.
Basic things aside, this is a gag manga and character development and context outside the primary characters is near existent. For what this series wants to be, that's perfectly fine. It is still very funny and enjoyable to read.
However, the series durdles way too much. The objective (Komi makes 100 friends) was declared early and essentially forgotten during the second 'love triangle' arc in favor of, well, resolving the love triangle. After that completed, the return to the 100 friends objective feels more like just a tired justification to milk the cash

This is NOT an isekai.
Well technically it is, but if you're expecting shounen-style facing adversity in a foriegn world, look elsewhere. This show is much more for slice of life/cute girls doing cute things fans. When I realized that this had recieved an anime adaptation, I was incredibly excited and then shocked how low it had been rated. However, the reviews on this anime tell the story of mismanaged expectations. For the genre it actually is, it is very much noteworthy.
