I watched this series a while ago when it first came out. The manga was super fun and well drawn so I was excited to see how the anime would look. I had low expectations because most yaoi anime is not as amazingly animated as other shows tend to be. When I watched YBC, I was pleasantly surprised. The series wasn't very well animated as I suspected it would be but it had great voice actors who fit the characters perfectly and an amazing opening song. This opening song would later find itself blowing up on tiktok.

not anime of the year, it is just hardcore yaoi sex for 2 episodes. The best way to enjoy this series is to not go into it with high expectations.
I assume most of the people who are reading reviews on this series are not familiar with it or have seen it around on tiktok, so let me spend a minute on what has been said on tiktok.
Tiktok took this series and took a shit on it. Because of tiktok, rumors have spread around this series. I've heard people say this is CP, which is crazy because this is FICTIONAL! This is ANIMATED! There were no children harmed in this making of this show, it is an ADULT show for ADULTS! Just because South Park's main cast is elementary school students are elementary school students supposed to watch South Park? Obviously not! I've also heard rumors on how "the show was supposed to be about college students not high school students!" WRONG! This show has always been and always will be about high schoolers having sex! and there is nothing wrong with that! One of the craziest rumor to me is that "the show was cancelled because of backlash" the Japanese studio that animated and made this show could not give a rat's a** what some American children think about their 2 episode series because at the end of the day you are not their audience! YBC was planned to only have 2 episodes from the start, they were never cancelled. Also please note: This show is aimed at people who enjoy yaoi, this is not for children. If you do not enjoy yaoi or are a child then you will not enjoy this anime!
If you're a minor and you don't like or enjoy yaoi but you want to watch this series because you like the song, let me give you a word of advice. Don't. Just don't do it. You have no reason to watch this show. I've seen so many people on tiktok watch this show going into it thinking that they'll like it because of the characters or the song only to end up hating it and bashing it online. If you know you're not going to enjoy watching a series then don't watch it and don't complain about it!
Although the anime is very short, the manga is still being released so if you did enjoy the anime, I recommend reading the manga.
In conclusion, if you like yaoi anime and are an adult you'll probably enjoy this anime. The VAs are great, the art style is pretty good, the sex scenes are spicy, and the characters are very lovable! It's good for what it is, which is hentai.

This anime is hardcore yaoi, if you enjoy other yaoi anime then you'll probably like this series.
