Baccano is one of my all time favorites so I was just curious to hear your thought process behind the rating

I see what you mean in regards to the narrative but I think that's just Narita's style of story-telling because he kinda does the same thing with Durarara (Large cast of characters built in a chaotic plot) but for Baccano I think what I vibed with the most was that its a period piece, and I think he perfectly captured the style, atmosphere and setting of this era)

For me, I really dug the quirky nature of most of the cast (Like Ladd, Isaac and Miria for example) too and I enjoyed seeing everyone interact with each other when need be. Plus I'm a sucker for Mob movies as well so I loved that sub-plot too
