I think some of the characters and stories are not fully developed, something I did expect given how short the episodes are. That aside, it was fun. I liked it. There’s not really romantic tones to it and at times it goes off the rails but seeing her whoop them every time made me happy. I wish it were a fully complete and developed series. The story was not really familiar but it was still predictable. The art is, of course, beautiful. Main character was not the smartest but she could fight so that’s all that matters. I actually really enjoyed this. Binged it all in one day. I think the last episode kind of stuck out like a sore thumb. Alicia was really easy to like even if I think it was a little ridiculous that she stuck so firmly to trying to fill a role that obviously didn’t really suit her actions. There were things that annoyed me and things I don’t think were properly resolved but overall…fun show with great moments. I do think I need clarification on the ages of these characters though. I liked it. The little differences in this isekai plot where she ends up dying twice and ends up back where she started was nice. There were little issues here and there with how smoothly that went but overall, it was cute. I wish we could’ve had a little more insight into her regrets she harped so much on in her first life. We knew how it ended but we don’t even know that it was properly justified. Simple characters, little development. If you like cute shows, it’s perfect. When I watched the first season of this show years ago, I loved it. It was its own thing. Watching the second season, I still enjoyed it. But something went wrong with this one.
It was repetitive and very boring. Nothing really started happening until the last few episodes. In a show where all the characters have been introduced already, it's so unnecessary to chop up episodes into little groups. The dialogue...don't even get me started on it. Not only does everyone feel the need to repeat EVERYTHING, when they don't, they're saying something generic and cheesy that seems all too forced to be quite ...

Call me superficial, but I could not stand the art. It's probably one of the ugliest (if not the ugliest) anime I've ever seen. At times, it was comical and at others it wasn't. Also, I didn't see the story going anywhere, really. I was expecting it to be something I could get into, considering that it was recommended for most of the shows I watched and loved, by this website and others. I couldn't find really any reasons to enjoy this show, no matter how I looked at it.
I realize that these may just be me, but I really wouldn't recommend this ...

Kiniro no Corda: Primo Passo

La Corda was one of the first animes I watched from start to finish a few years back. The story is nothing spectacular or other-worldly, but the way it was conveyed felt so...magical. Maybe it was the music, or the art style. But, whatever the case, I finished this series feeling so good about it. It's nothing super serious or revolutionary, but it definitely is a feel-good kind of show. Especially for those who enjoy the reverse genre.
The show is cute and soothing so, if you're looking for a nice way to pass the time, I think that it is worth a watch. It ... |
