These milestones may move whenever MAL decide to combine or separate smaller entries, but I’m not going to go back and retroactively change them.

It’s about time I do one of those “what my rankings mean” posts. There’s no such thing as objective quality, so my ratings are purely based on how much enjoyment I got out of it, so you will see “bad” shows rated highly if I enjoyed my time with them. How highly I score a show may also be affected by when I saw it, as at different points in life you’ll relate to certain types of stories differently.

I try to use the full 1-10 scale, although more than 90% will fall between 3-8.

10s - Kinda a weird thing of “if it manages to hit me just right” it gets a 10.
9s - One of my favourites.
8s - I loved it, but can’t quite call it one of my favourites, but it’s close.
7s - I found it very enjoyable.
6s - It was a fun experience, but I didn’t really care for it beyond that.
5s - There was good and bad, but overall the good and bad roughly balanced each other out.
4s - I don’t regret watching it, but there was more I didn’t like than did.
3s - My overall experience was pretty negative, but there were some worthwhile elements to make it not feel like a waste of time. If I knew a show would be a 3 going into it, I probably wouldn’t watch it.
2s - Shows I can find next to no redeeming qualities in.
1s - A 2 but with that little extra special element that disgusts me.

My manga list is also completely wrong, but it’s too late to fix that.
