My Unique Skill Makes Me OP even at Level 1, has some great qualities to it that really help future adaptations in the Isekai genre.

Firstly, the levelling system and premise of how dungeons, economics and logistics works in this universe feel quite original. I can't think of any other anime that has a similar style of levelling system off-hand.

Ryota is a likeable character that is your typical Isekai nice-guy airhead that without his granted OP abilities wouldn't have really been anything special in the rest of the universe.

The overall pacing of the anime throughout the show doesn't variate from a typical fast paced Isekai anime ... which leaves it concerning if the writers intend to make this show a multi-season show that is still interesting and not scraping for ideas without getting disjoint or suffer from ridiculous multi-dimensional power cliffing.

The side characters add to the feel good nature of the show and help keep things positive and cute. But, overall the side characters are only around to compliment or react to the behaviours of the main character and really don't have personalities of there own. The value of these characters are to compliment the MC and fill stereotypical adventure party roles e.g. Tamer, Tank, Mage etc.

Overall it was enjoyable to watch but I feel will not be overall memorable outside of being used for comparison against future Isekai - 6/10 // 4 stars

Beelzebub: The Unorthodox Quality Action/Comedy

I went into this anime blind. I wasn't really sure what it was going to be about or whether it was going to be any good or not.
After scrolling Crunchyroll for years I had always seen it floating somewhere on the "popular tab". I have always had a soft spot for demon themed anime's and decided to go all in.

Story (8/10): The story itself can be described very simply as 'An absolute overload of information'. everything about this anime is madly over the top; From the characters to the story to jokes and action scenes. But, this is where ... the charm is; this feels like a wild story that has grabbed you by the hand and has sent you barrelling through a mad action/comedy.

Art (7/10):
Being that I am reviewing this in 2021 it is obvious that the anime's animation does look a little aged and has not used techniques to stand the test of time such as anime movies like Your Name by Makoto Shinkai or on of the Ghibli Films.
But, you have to take into consideration that this anime was not designed to be some optical masterpiece but rather a fun enjoyable experience so I rate it a solid average score of 7.

Sound (6/10): Sound in this is not a focus in this anime like a romance anime. The music tends to be sort of tied to small snippets to make the action scenes a bit more epic or to give a strong feeling of quirkiness during a comedy scene; But that's about as far as its used.
The voice actors are good but there is just a large amount of screaming and yelling in the anime so it doesn't so much display the range of the actors.

Characters (8/10): This is a large factor as to what makes the anime stand out. all the characters have prominent personalities and are very unorthodox and very over the top. because of this it is very funny at points. It is hard to convey how this is a factor without watching this yourself.

Enjoyment (7/10): I enjoyed this anime quite a lot and got really hyped during some really crazy action scenes and definitely had my fair share of laughs throughout especially with Beelzebub being such a cute but wild character only being held at bay with an equally over the top and excessive main character.
Lastly the story had just the right sprinkle of touching moments to make you care about the characters and not just see them as conduits for the next punch line.

Overall I rate this 7/10. This anime was very enjoyable and I had a good time watching it and didn't feel like I was being dragged through the show. A solid action/comedy and really is a show that sets the average bar for where an anime in this genre should really be to be considered enjoyable.
