It is very unrealistic, I think I should say that in the first place. If we compare it to things like Haikyuu which is semi-realistic, I'd say KnB is close to almost impossible to do. But that is some of the things that makes it very enjoyable.
When it comes to the scenes it almost feels like they're action scenes, this is perfect because it is a Shonen anime.
Although one criticism I'd say about it is how they perceive some of the opponents. Some of them you get a backstory, but you never really sympathize with a lot of them. There are some teams

you're glad that they lost, I guess this makes it easier to see Seirin win a lot of the times. But because of this some of the characters really lack that sense that makes them seem actual people who actually want to win. Sometimes they feel like actual evil villains or stereotypical antagonists.
Either way, it is enjoyable because of its art and the way it balances its friendships. All it lacks is the realism (which in this case I agree with because it does make it more enjoyable) and also the backstory to some of the characters.
