How can I write a review without spoilering what made this manga so good to me? Anyone who has just started this and isn't around chapter 15 should go back to it and get there before reading this.

Now, I'm a huge music fan and an amateur musician. And I play bass guitar. I don't really like sports manga, besides the ones with sports I'm familiar with. What made me fall in love with this, then? Simple. It's about a bass player.

I grew up watching Beck: MCS, and this manga looks like a lighter, newer version of the masterpiece I loved. The amount of details ... the mangaka put into his (her?) work is amazing, ranging from the instruments' art to the way drummers usually get involved with a song, to the strange behavior of most guitar players. As a fellow musician, I can say that every little thing the characters do is exactly as it is in reality.

Speaking about the characters, they are really well put together, and their differentiation can make way to a lot of funny situations.

I strongly recommend this manga to everyone who is a musician, well, a "rock" musician, as you will find yourself as if you were actually playing with their band. I can't wait for it to continue and, even better, for it to get an anime, and I hope some badass musicians will be able to make an interesting soundtrack.
