It was just too boring. Too slow. Hard to watch. Visuals are great though. However, not a lot is really there to see in way of the relationship between the two MCs. It was just mostly awkward staring on the girls part. slightly a waste of energy to be honest. Also, the fixation on rain is really much. Basically every other minute of the frame looks the same. Rain and water everywhere lol.
The female character is not much of a character really. I found her a bit awkward.
The male MC was also awkward at best
It also seemed the story sorter gets lost from
...
the middle, with no aim. So it feels tiring to watch.
Nevertheless, the art and music definitely score a 10/10 for sure. Nothing overtly sexual to distract from the plot.

I absolutely liked wolf's rain from episode one till its ending at episode 26.
However, i completely hated the ova the extra four episodes. they were extremely pathetic, and the act of forgiveness and sacrificing of oneself or should we say wolf self for the other especially the pops guy was taken to another level entirely, till it became completely illogical and excessively pathetic.
Also, i feel like the writers just needed to make everything completely depressing such that you think the characters you liked from the start completely stupid in just these four episodes, and did i already mention pathetic>?....
Its as though the writers
...
were trying to ensure every wolf's rain fan cried their hearts out within 90% of these ovas.
Left to me, the wonderful work of wolf's rain and its awesome cast should have been left completely alone. I mean how can i rate the main story 9 out of 10, and its 9 not 10 simply because i did not really enjoy those filler recap episodes...but still i liked every single other thing. yet i rated this one 4?!!! its so crazy how bad its written.
I mean what is the point of reaching paradise at all if they all suffer crazily at the whim of the writers?...plus what was with the terrible Darcia guy suddenly totally taking over affairs? ridiculous.
well, i will always have the memory of wolf's rain the initial ball of awesomeness instead of this confusion, and brutally, morbid need of the writers to crucially and tortuously kill off every character that every made any sort of sense.

i enjoyed the first story and first arc of Twelve Kingdoms. Everything else after that went down hill.
The art is good as well as the sound in my opinion. However, the story is always the most important aspect of any anime i watch, and the story or should we say stories in Twelve Kingdoms, annoyed me a lot, and to no end. There were too many pointless diversions, and characters introduced that the viewer can just not care about no matter how much they are forced on us.
What annoyed me most was that the writer obviously overstretched the amount of trouble that Youko has
...
to withstand as queen, to a point where it is no longer reasonable, and you just wish she will sit on the stupid throne with confidence, and simply know what to do with common sense, instead of wasting our lives finding out unnecessary things that just annoy the crap out of the viewer.
Also, i did not like Keiki's attitude throughout the series, i felt he was helpless and completely useless at all points even if he is meant to be the prestigious and noble kirin creature. He was either useless, or he was making Youko the queen he chose in the first place miserable with his silence and lack of actual support.
like i said, the story is always the most important aspect. Left to me, Twelve kingdom's actual interesting, and reasonable story fits into just 12 episodes, thus all the other 30+ episodes can be cut. I kept watching and hoping something more interesting would happen, or the characters will finally move, and use common sense, but they were all slow, and uninteresting in their approach to moving the plot forward. Most importantly, i do not feel there was any actual resolution.
Youko's character may have grown a little, however she did not grow as a queen at all. She did not make any real impact whatsoever.
Thus i find myself asking; why did i just waste 2 days of my life watching this? well the answer is that the beginning was not bad, and the other 11 reasonably interesting episodes, were indeed something to write someone about.

Code Geass truly is one of the most interesting animes i have had the opportunity to watch. It is also one of the most intriguing plot lines i have followed yet.
The idea of the plot might be a bit cliche; however, the way everything has been put together is more than just simply interesting.
Also, the characters are interesting especially the character of Lelouch. His character till today remains unrivaled in the anime world. He was not your usual hero, neither was he all bad. He was a classic mix of good traits and bad traits plus superior intelligence, making him a very relatable
...
character. At one point, in the anime i started wondering what it would be like for me if i actually ran into such a character as Lelouch in reality.
The subbed version for me is the best approach to watching any anime. That way you can listen to the emotions as accurately as they have been projected by the originally selected voice actors. As for me, my love for the character of Lelouch arose rapidly after hearing his voice, the way he emotes, and not to mention his manic humourless, plain evil laughter.
The Code Geass art is also one of the best i have seen. It seems a little strange at first, but once you go on, you see some major improvements done on the characters, which just makes them all more appealing and attractive.
All in all, Code Geass has one of the most bad ass story telling techniques i have seen today. It raises alot of questions, and boldly approaches the topic of RACISM in our society today.
It highlights the presence of the subtle not so subtle racism and discrimination that still continues in our society of today, despite the technological developments, and advancement we find in most other areas of society today.
I love the show but R1 and R2, and i strongly believe its one of the best stories ever told such that i time myself, and give myself intervals after which i watch Code Geass all over again, and appreciate it all over again. :)

i ll say based on the art, sound, character the show gets an overall 7. Why not 10 you may ask? ...
Well to start off, the story is only decent at best, and so far out of reality that its absord. One might say this was the point, but it got so absord, that one is completely lost now and again about what exactly is going on, how everything escalated so quickly and why in the midst of this level of bizarness the main characters are still alive.
The upside is that the characters in their individual ways are interesting, especially the main not
...
so main character of it all.
Zatsuen starts off on a good note, and it had everything at that point to make it greater than it is now, however, the story spiralled so fast, there was almost nothing connecting anything to genuine human reaction, and reality at its best.
Also, i feel bad for all those that have not had the liberty to experience Tempest by Shakespeare cause trying to crack any of those lines thrown in, and remotely finding some connection to what is happening at that point is completely pointless, leaving the viewer awed by just how truly lost they are.

the show was dreadfully boring. I almost shed tears at how uninteresting it was. It was slow, and the fillers were all terrible, and piled with recaps of a ton of not so exciting stuff we already saw ten times.
I already hate filler episodes that are not mainly for comedy, like the fillers in Bleach that went on forever, which was nearly completely unmanageable, if just to see the familiar character's faces, one holds on. However,
Moving on, I watch slow paced anime's like josei, and realistic ones too but this was none of the above it was just a blur of words, and
...
female faced guys.
Also, i am quite a fan of pretty boys (bishounen), and close relationships between male characters, even to the level of Nabari No Ou. However, this was just nasty. There was absolutely nothing thrilling or interesting about the relationships you find amongst the characters.
As for the drawing, i felt the artist did a poor job cause i found myself thinking now and then 'that one looks like a chick' for almost every character. The only character that did not quite look female was probably Hema, who was so melancholic and white board a character, i almost shed tears from the sheer nothingness of it all.
The music was nothing special, and the setting was okay. Although i was interested in the planes at first, i still found it to be a bore by the second episode.
not to be a total hater or sore thumb, i ll give the writers and animators a thumb up for putting effort at all, and thinking up the totally great idea of artificial soldiers, and their role in war, which can be juxtaposed to all the strange topics rising up in our society today.
Have not reviewed in a long time. hope it wasn't all that brash. .. ;)

okay so this anime isnt't bad.
at first, it starts weird. like the first episode is a mess. you get confused, and wonder why all of a sudden for goodness sake they are in this random world fighting with strange looking robots. which did not mess with the exposition. also, the cheesyness in the transformation is not so extreme as you proceed.
going on, it starts to make sense, whats with all the fighting each episode.
personally, this anime works for girls and guys, but i feel its more for the guy audience since it has all the ecchi type positions of showing the characters,
...
thighs, boods...what not. plus there is all that cheesy sudden action where ya, takuto is 99% victorious. not bad at all.
so, if it is your intention to watch this, it is pretty good. i give it a 7. :)

so well, this started off pretty good. you know obviously with the excitement of 'wow another vampire anime, that has darn good looking characters'...ya...
well, the beginning, and first half built the anticipation, you know with the herione?...all thirsty and all, plus her brother already doing his thing in the chapel, or wherever...(and never doing it again...wth!!??) so well ya that got me anticipating it each week.
but then, the second half happened. i mean it totally killed. as in the literal meaning. the story line went downhill. the main male character went blurry lol. he was boring in other words. i think the most annoying thing
...
of the story was that it seemed after her whole (sexy thirsting), there was nothing else...like nothing else intriguing, or catching, and so the story commited suicide or sth.
so well, if you intend on watching this, gambate ne. it starts good, and you just kinda finish it cos u started it you see. the art is really good, the music isnt bad at all, and overall i ll give it a 6. That is for getting me waiting and anticipating at all...:P

I thought this was one of the most crappiest anime's made ever!!! absolutely horrendous.
why? you ask? well, the herione, is the most irritating thing animation has ever come about. I thought it was absolutely ridiculous to put something like this on air. she is the epitome of tsun, with the dere missing.
i mean, i stuck with it thinking oh my, the dere will start to increase in percentage, but none!!! like wth, and then there was this completely alarming episode where she up and sold her story, and it was to be turned to anime?!!!
anyhow, pretending for instance she was to be
...
the annoying herione which she omg was, and her bro was to be like the only normal one, then ya he failed!!! he was a masochistic douche. i thought ok, its fine let him just take the blows from beginning, but nothing ever changed!!! he was constantly rejected, hissed at, kicked, screamed at, and omg disrespected. at this point he should go die.
well, overall, i think this was really poorly done. the plot was going halewire, the art was fine, not as awesome as others, the enjoyment was 1. like i skipped in some episodes because i couldn't afford to break my computer screen (will have none for replacement) and finally, the characterization was poor except for the girl with black hair who pointed out stuff, the whole watching world was thinking like seriously?? lol.
so if it is your intention to carry on, beware of the tsundere herione, who lacks the dere part. (thinks that was harsh...really needed to vent some irritation though lol)

This anime is pretty darn good. At first, its easy to think (especially with that picture) that it is bad, but its not so bad actually. its interesting, has unique characters, flows as should. in that you hardly get that what? or ekk feeling. it just flows.not the type of flow in oreimo, but a very comforting, and resoanable pace. so if you are considering watching this, i ll say go for it, push through/ get used to the first episode, and afterwards, you are fine. :)
