Nightows typical intense and fascinating storytelling that we experienced in Trigun, but in a battle shounen setting, which allows him to up the comedy and silliness in ways he didn't in Trigun, but it still feels very typical to his style. The supernatural elements and superpowers are also scaled up from the previous two series (those series being Trigun and Gungrave). This series is still distinct enough to stand on its own, but also recognizable to fans of Nightows work due to the artstyle (he did character design for the Gungrave franchise), writing (in the case of Trigun), and overall vibe surrounding the series.

Gungrave is Yasuhiro Nightows most underrated work ( Though he was only the character designer for both the games and anime) Genuinely interesting series with a lot of good characters and a good mix of grounded drama and more fantastical elements, all things that made Trigun interesting. Gungrave is set in a more modern and realistic setting, but has a lot of crazy things going on. The only other major difference to take note of is the lack of comedy in Gungrave compared to Trigun. Also, despite being based on a game, it doesn't expect you to have played it to watch the show, and it is pretty good (most anime based on games i've seen are pretty meh, with the exception of Tales of Zestiria, Sengoku Basara and Gungrave)

Days

Both series are relatively grounded in regards to on-field play, nothing too surreal. Both series also follow a main underdog team with a timid and unimposing, yet promising player in the ranks. If you liked the relatively realistic nature of Days, then Giant Killing is essentially the same thing but with the stakes massively increased, in the professional scene.

Both series are essentially, battle shounen meets sport, to the extreme. Unreal powers, super speed, move names, they are both so much ridiculous fun that I implore you to watch one if you haven't seen the other!

Stranger: Mukou Hadan

Both have the same plot revolving around a strong adult character protecting a young boy from several assailants who try to kill/take him away. Moribito takes place in a fictional fantasy world that looks very Japan-inspired, while Sword of the Stranger actually takes place in 1500's Japan.

Gintama

Large cast ( but a lot more interesting and it can be argued screentime distribution is better handled in Gintama among the cast) Just like Bleach, it has really cool character designs and the fights look great. Most of Gintama's serious arcs have a very Soul Society arc vibe in regards to the tone and the gravity of the situations (imo) Also a little side note Kubo and Sorachi (author of Gintama) are buddies, idk what that has to do with the two shows but I thought i'd mention.

Gintama

Both are chanbara (of course) Gintoki and Kenshin both run into a girl and her brother who run a dojo, and Gintoki much like Kenshin meets a sizeable cast of characters that have to help him stop a bunch of people determined to topple society. Gintama is primarily comedic but has quite a few fully serious arcs, and Gintama replaces the Western presence with Aliens (but both take place around the same time, that time being 1840's-60's Japan)

Little Witch Academia (TV)

Similarly has an all-female main cast with a range of powers (but no bullshit fan service thankfully.) Madoka Magica explores darker (It's way darker than LWA) themes but just like Madoka, there is a lot of regard for characterization and quite a few of the characters are given time to shine, and there are no characters clowned by the writers.
