This was one of those anime that builds an intricate maze of domino pieces, then at one point, the whole set comes crashing down (in a good way). That was how it felt to watch this movie.
Story-wise, it builds on the series and adds a nice conclusion to open ending.
Art-wise, the animation was just splendid, it was actually a scene from this movie that got me to watch all the series and then this movie.
Character-wise, as you watch the movie, you begin to feel a piece of the emotions that the characters go through, it was truly an experience.
