ONE THE BEST FINISHED (SHOUNEN) MANHWA OUT THERE:

BASIC PLOT: A story of a Boy who wants Revenge for his Father's death.
Has everything a Shounen story would need; Action, Art, Good characters, Good world-building and Plot.

Pro's:
- Has everything you would need, a bit of romance ( nothing major), great fights, amazing characters and great world view and world building.
- Is not too long and not too short, since Manhwa can be easily read. ( they are coloured ) Once you get immersed, you
cannot get out it's that good.
- Start to finish, Is very good. Very consistent, and doesn't have any sort of ... loopholes.

Cons:
- The Ending could have been a tad bit more longer, but is fine as it is.
- Does not any after end after-stories for now.
- The Art-style is unique. It might be for you, might not be.

OVERALL:
A GREAT ACTION MANHWA, Is based in Murim but doesn't have any of that cultivation BS. While I will praise it, it isn't perfect. Nothing can be. So just give it a go and trust this fellow stranger, You will not be disappointed.

Strange manga worthy of being called "Peak Fiction" created by a strange Author on drugs worthy of being called "The Da Vinci of Weird Manga"

Fire Punch is the opposite of what you would call normal, the Characters, the Setting, the Art. All of it is Special

The Author really knows how to use Panels to bring out emotions. It is evident in his love for the Medium.

This may or may not be your Cup of Tea, Give it a few chapters and go from there. Since opinion is subjective I really cannot recommend it without any Bias. So if you're okay with THINGS BEING ... WEIRD then I suggest you check it out!

(I enjoyed it but that is because I already liked a lot of Tatsuki Fujimoto's works and weird works in general)

A PROGRESSIVE PHILOSOPHICAL MANGA WITH ACTION AS IT'S SUBJECT.

Something every person should consume if they have time, it will help you in one way or another.

SURFACE:
The Tale of Musashi Miyamoto, arguably the Greatest Swordsman of all Time.

Since from an early age, Musashi was a wild boy who cared only about striving for the title "Unrivalled Under The Heavens" and making sure His name was heard everywhere.

What Vagabond is ACTUALLY about:
... That is just the surface of it and is NOT what the author wants US to think Vagabond is all about.

Vagabond is the maturing of the Main Character from being the Wild Animal and narrow minded Shinmen Takezo ( Musashi's old name) To becoming The All Observing and Accepting Musashi Miyamoto. Through the Way of the Sword, meeting friends and foes.

People delve too much into it and overthink it, Vagabond is not an Action Manga it is the Progression of Musashi as a Human being and evolving onto the higher realms of what A TRULY STRONG Person is all about. Think of Vagabond as a progressive philosophical Manga with Action as it's subject.

PHILOSOPHY:
With the recent surge of "Vinland Saga Good Guy Philosophy" Vagabond's philosophical is actually under appreciated and forcefully labeled as "oVeRaTeD"

This is not the philosophy of a depressed fanatic who is upset with his Father, nor is it the type of philosophy which questions Everything. This the PHILOSOPHY OF A MAN WHO has the blood of MANY on his HANDS, the Philosophy of a Warrior. And each bit of Philosophy in Vagabond completely checks out in it's Samurai Honcho contexts.

For Example:
"All Strong Men are Truly Kind": Is a philosophy given to Musashi By a Monk Named Takuan. NOW NOTE that this philosophy can be considered flawed in many ways if we refer to it from our perspectives. BUT THIS was given to MUSASHI in specific in order for him to grow and realise the truth that you do not ONLY have to be strong in order to be the "STRONGEST" but kind as well.

ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW:
I could go on and on for hours about how great this manga is and how influential of a man Musashi truly is. But keep in mind a few things. This is not complete and has been on hiatus from around 2015. But It does not need to be completed in order to be a full-filling masterpiece. ( Bias )

A Tough but Enjoyable Watch. Consume with an open mindset.

Depending on the person this anime might go from 7 to 10 depending on the type of person watching it. Some people might relate to it while some might just find all the things happening to be very stupid and outlandish.

But Those who can Relate will definitely tell you that this anime although dated is a masterpiece

I am feeling a bit conflicted with the anime's score in mind. I liked the anime as it very REAL-y depicts the socials issues of the People in Japan. I liked it very much so but at times It ... got very annoying because the characters were made to be very gullible and naive. But I understand that is how most of us are, even though we may deny it. (Especially Japanese, Since their culture is very reserved) . I liked it a lot but I did not come here for those themes and things alike.

But I would like to say the parts that included Satou's development were all 10/10 .The rest was a bonus ( Game Making Arc), (Pyramid Scheme Arc ). Where as (the attention seeking senpai ) was just there to make you mad and make you realise that there are also these kinds of people out there.

Objectively rating it would be 10/10 by a long shot. But be that as it may, maybe it's because I am still too immature and all but I did not ask for for those aspects. But some aspects were very VERY REAL.

My personal enjoyment: 8/10, Characters: 8.2/10, Animation, Character Design and Opening Music was very NICE as well.

(I gave it an 8 despite all that praise because I failed to relate with some moments)
