Kageki Shoujo!!

Both of them take place in a prestige, noble setting with an all-girls surrounding. The MCs in both shows resemble each other, Sarasa and Yumi being energetic and positive and their counterparts Sachiko and Ai being more distant with a cold and cool aura. Both shows give off the same Shoujo and Drama vibes and are generally very similar to each other.

Both are Sci-Fi oriented where war and military play a big role. They're also very Drama-heavy with a large cast of different characters. The biggest similarity is that in both, humans are used as a weapon. Both shows have a similar MC, leading and taking care of a group.

Jouran: The Princess of Snow and Blood

Both take place in the Edo era and are very Action-heavy and also somehow political in their own world. They fight mainly with swords but also with Supernatural powers. They have identical OSTs, a great animation-style and the whole dark atmosphere is very similar. Also in both shows, revenge is a big theme. If you liked Katanagatari, you'd also be interested in Jouran.

It's not the fact that in both shows they represent animals that can talk (even though it's one of the reasons they're so alike) but more the darker plot that both Animes have. I had strong Beastars and Mystery vibes when I started with Odd Taxi.

Both seem bright, cheerful and happy at first but get darker and more complex as the story progresses. The MCs obtain a mysterious, important item, get transported in a alternate/dream-like universe and have to fight creepy, fantasy creatures. They have the same vibrant colors also a similar animation style with fast-paced scenes.

In both, the MC's deal with supernatural beings and are trying to defeat those to help other people. In JK the MC is forced to rely on the cursed spirit to fight back, in UtT the MC teams up with a powerful youkai. They both are against evil acts and wrongdoings, being similiar in their fate and also in character. Both are kind of episodic dealing with 'monsters' but also follow the main storyline in the process. Both have great trio/duo dynamics and same sense of comedy in between..., also they give off the same Shounen, action vibes.

Vatican Kiseki Chousakan

The dark Thriller atmosphere involving Supernatural themes are really similar and I immediately thought of Mouryou no Hako when I finished the first Episode of Vatican Kiseki Chousakan. In Mouryou no Hako we have a group investigating a murder case while in Vatican Kiseki Chousakan they're investigating "miracles" which also involve bizarre and complex events. Both are dialogue heavy series, giving us little hints and leaving us excited after a Episode (my first impression of Vatican). Both MC's are priests and have similar traits in their personality and looks (Robert sometimes acts like Chuuzenji and Hiraga looks like a younger version of him).

Dagashi Kashi

Both MCs are unhappy/uninterested about working under a family business. They have a calming atmosphere and take place in a very similar setting. Dagashi Kashi takes on a more comedic look, while Hanasaku Iroha takes on a more realistic life approach. Also the animation is great, kinda similar with bright colors.
