Bokura no

I've been passing this recommendation around in my head for a while and I figured why not put it out there. The similarities might not hit you right off the back, they are structured completely differently, Bokurano is based around small arc for each of the pilots, while Infinite Ryvius focuses on the whole plot, but once you get underneath, they both are very similar. Both shows present a large cast of unique children placed in a perilous situation against their will or better judgment. But mainly they share the same themes, responsibility, loss of innocence, power, and politics. You get many different ideas on each topic, which is very nice because I can't think of any of the hundreds of characters in either series that are similar. On an interesting note, you can overlay the music for one on to the other one's OP and they sync pretty well.

Both come form mangas penned by Naoki Urasawa, and both are of similar quality. Master Keaton is a bit more episodic in nature than Monster, but both are fantastic.

If you like Over Drive for the cycling aspect, Nasu is the only other cycling anime I know of, and it's pretty good. "Nasu: Summer in Andalusia follows the story of a professional Spanish cyclist, Pepe Benengeli, as he competes in the Vuelta a España road bicycle race through his home town in the Iberian region of Andalusia. As the story progresses, Pepe is faced with frustrating consequences, with him facing pressure from his sponsors and the wedding of his former girlfriend, Carmen, to his elder brother, Angel, coinciding on the same day of the penultimate stage of the bicycle race, and strives to gain the respect of his team and family." It has also been an announced that a sequel to the film, Nasu 2, is currently being produced, which will be set in Japan on the Japan Cup Cycle Road Race, and is slated to be released in 2007.
