The plot summary and the first episode really betrays this show.

I continued watching this show based on the weirdness factor of the first episode.
Suddenly i found myself both smiling and laughing at this anime that began in such
a weird fashion.

Do not let the plot summary or beginning of this anime fool you. It is very charming
as things go along. Im looking forward to season 2.

The anime is, like many anime, comprised of a few story beats coving the days, but
... the cuts between them are very nicely done in my opinion. There isn't a very wide
story though. The story is a bout the two main characters and sometimes supporting
characters just fill out the space.

The MC is the typical "im looking down at myself all the time" but this show seems
to have kept it at a level that never bothered me.

I decided to continue watching this after the first episode because despite the male characters being awful, i saw potential in how the love interest handled the situation. The series seem like it kinda wanted to fulfill that potential but failed to do so properly.

Basically everyone except the love interest is fully awful, with most having no redeeming moments and the ones that do have extremely few redeeming moments.

The overall plot is very barebones which can be fine if the characters are good, which they aren't
The animation shifts a lot in quality.

Having the extreme "lolicon" character there aswell is weird to me, is it a ... style of comedy that i don't get, living in the west?

There are better anime out there both for romance and for ecchi.
