As an old timer anime lover, it's kinda reminds me old time anime hits. Slow pace with side stories, that contribute to the main story.
In fact, the side stories are pretty good too...

As someone who probably already read a thousand manga, this story isn't that unique for me...
The story set in the world is indeed very interesting with the different races, the way of combating, the way of living.. Definitely not unique.Though, I would say that the perceptive of the storytelling and characters are indeed very unique that intrigue me the most... It brings up a very strong feeling of slice ... of life and somewhat tragedy... The art style and soundtrack are definitely complimenting the anime well..

I think some audience are fans of a certain action anime went criticizing this anime and expecting an entirely different genre of an anime like mystery? I think they are not aware that the genre of the anime is "drama". It will be good if you're a fan of drama and showbiz. Don't waste your time if you're not into this kind of genre.

Drawing/Design is top notch. I think it is probably one of the best anime that I watched. The style changes dramatically depending on the emotion of the scenes and it blends so well to illustrate the emotion. The soundtrack is absolutely ... the best. Apart from the ordinary soundtrack that is already good, they even design soundtrack for certain small scenes which I adore. I am kinda surprise of this coming from non-music theme anime. In particular, the creativity of some scenes are so re-watchable and numbers don't lie, short scene cut out from the anime in video platform are racking million of views in mere few days.

Although I do think that the plotting have some holes and I am not entirely a big fan of drama, but I absolutely treasure all other elements in the anime. The plotting is so-so for me so far.

If you enjoy girl power and fighting scenes, then this anime is easily one of the best of 2022 for you. Absolutely amazing animation, sound effect and oh mama, the OST really hits the spot for me.
The re-watch value for the fighting scenes are definitely high, it bring so much emotion and excitement.

In fact, the story plot aren't as simple or predictable as many said, it is quite complex and mystery element hinted here and there. Personally, I don't really like the characters and it's appearance but it do managed to blend well and manage to bring out the emotion.

I mean, as a working guy, I appreciate this kind of anime to relax and enjoy.

The characters, the art and the sound are amazing!
The fighting scene are very enjoyable mixing in some fantasy and the details like the way how Chisato is holding her gun. The fashion design of the characters like the dressing and everything are great to see.

In term of the character development, the chemistry between the two main character on how they are slowly developing their friendship together is very adorable. I enjoy the pace of it as we are learning ... the main characters. Can't wait for the backstory as well.

As of writing this review, I just watched episode 3.
