I started reading after the anime's episode three cliffhanger. I am not a shoujo fan.
It is a short but sweet shoujo story with all the elements that make me recommend it to readers. The twists, turns, and ending can be seen halfway through the chapters, but that does not matter.
The character's depth and development are just enough to let the readers feel some connection to them.

I skipped this one when it aired because it did not catch my attention. I have seen Nagatoro's and Jayy's which I feel has the same vibe.
I enjoyed watching Osana, Najimi on screen more than the main characters. I understand the shtick of this anime which I do not hate and does not drive my enjoyment down. I gave the story a 7/10 because I do see Komi's progression towards her goal which is to add friends to her friends count. In the end, Komi does not progress as a character because the anime has to keep the gag up and I respect that. ... Feb 19, 2022

This anime is a delight to watch. The characters have great chemistry in almost every scene. This anime is yet to finish but I know it is one of my favorites already.
I have three reasons for this: 1. Great set of characters. Marin, Gojo, Sajuna, and Shinju are fun to watch. 2. The animation is enjoyable, especially all the faces/behaviors of Marin towards certain situations. 3. The fanservice spices it up while the story keeps you in I was expecting to go one way and then "bam" it went the way I wish most romance anime take.
