Expected typical isekai mc where he fights and goddess sidekick and gimmick that makes him different and powerful and separates him from the saturated isekai market.
HOWEVER, the character does get fleshed out and explored in a good way. It takes most of the season for it to happen but if you realize the point of view the story is seen from, then you can understand why the story unfolds like it does. 8/10, surprisingly really solid from Kadokawa. Isekai dude is voiced by Goblin Slayer which is cool. Show has funny slapstick/3 stooges humor and funny faces you can pause and laugh, kinda like in
