Good finale to a great show. Demon slayer proves that you don't need to writer a revolutionary plot deconstructing every trope and cliche. People are fine with the same cookie cutter style as long as it's executed well. Ufotable takes it to the next level with their spectacular animation, OST, and directing.

There was never an episode that i felt bored, forcing my way through it. That doesn't mean demon slayer doesn't have it's flaws. They're painfully obvious if you're used to your everyday shounen. The MC (Tanjiro) is actually what i dislike the most; his overly-chivalrous personality puts me off. The rest of cast suffers ... from one note trope personalities as well.

However looking past the cliche issues, everything else in demon slayer is amazing.

I highly recommend it to any anime fan, especially shounen fans. 8/10

Definitely the third best jojo part. Part 4 is the best with Part 2 close behind.

I loved almost everything about it but i wished we could've gotten more SOL moments with the gang. Also i felt trish was barely a character and she should've gotten more than one (i don't count the Diavalo fight as a 1v1) fight.

I can see where the dislike of the final battle comes from. However the true final fight was the gang vs diavolo, GER established their victory. Yeah you could call it "Deux Ex machina" but it was stated numerous times that the arrow will make the user ... night unbeatable. The gang won fair and square.

I prefer Dio vs Jotaro and Josuke vs Kira but this fight wasn't terrible or anything.

All i have to say about the OST is DI MOLTTTTTTOOOOOOOOOOOO

The animation/art was crappy at times but overall it was a pleasure to see.

Overall i give Part 5 a 9/10.

PART 6 PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

EH AA has been declining in quality lately; most of the jokes became stale and predictable. Kind of ironic considering AA is unpredictable by nature. The first half was hilarious but only a couple of episodes got some chuckles out of me in the second half.

The main problem with this show is it's format. Gag humor has never really been my taste, i'm more of an humor with a plot type of guy. Grand blue does this nicely with it's format consisting of a strong plot point each episode that carries on into the next. AA has strong continuity too but since it's non ... linear by it's nature it comes off hard to set up good comedic timing for me to burst out laughing.

Grand blue struggled in the first couple of episodes while AA started off strong. It's funny how they took opposite directions of quality as the season progressed. Grand blue improved it's comedic timing and character development (which isn't that important in comedy) with hilarious interactions and sort of wholesome moments. I think the biggest difference between GB and AA is that GB has more downtime in between the gag comedic punches to surprise the audience for better reactions.

I guess the best description to give AA is that it's a fun and wacky gag comedy but comes off too predictable later on. I give AA a 7/10

Angel beats. First lets talk about the good.

The OST is GLORIOUS! Angel beats has my favorite combination of an OP & ED I've ever listened to. I would've never thought there was going to be an OP to take YuYu's spot as my favorite op of all time. Angel beats has some of the best usage of insert songs since Haruhi "God Knows"; the first 3 episodes in the concert literally got me up dancing in joy. At first i thought angel beats was about angels making music, but it might as well be with it's terrific ost. The "beats" in the title really does ... fit.

The art and animation is alright. I love the color choices for the hair. It's rare to see such a good combination of colors for hair schemes in anime. The action scenes are well done even though action is clearly not the focus point of this anime.

Now on to the bad... I have alot to say about angel beats but i'm only on episode 9 so my opinions may change.

The main problem with Angel beats is the abundance of characters. For such a short anime it loves to introduce the viewer to a new character every 2 episodes. The cast was already huge from the first episode. About 10 characters in the main crew and 5 side characters. The author did a good job in giving each character multiple lines so the viewer wouldn't be stuck with 3 characters to care about, with unnecessary background characters following the main trio. However after episode 3 is where the flaw in character abundance appears.

I wished angel beats would've followed the format of another character in the cast finally accomplishes what they wanted to do then gets "obliterated". Unfortunately they didn't and decided to keep every character while introducing new characters to the cast. Eventually characters start getting ignored so it becomes hard to care about any of them, leading to a feel of forced drama.

Now onto the plot... i don't even know what to say. I'm not finished with the anime but even i can say it's rushed. The plot is all over the place, ranging from a group of kids trying to fight off god, to a story about acceptance, to a story about clones going haywire... I don't know what's coming next but from what i heard it's just as bad.

It's like Angel beats doesn't know what type of anime it wants to be. It tries to be dramatic and it executes the dramatic feeling right with various depressing backstories. However it fails for me because of the lack of care for any of the characters. If angel beats cast was cut in half or was a 2 cour anime then it would've been better. I heard the director wanted it to be a 2 cour but thought it wouldn't have been this popular. It's certainly not a comedy because of the forced drama every episode; the comedy is more of a cringefest anyway.

I can't give Angel beats a full on rating right now because i'm only on episode 9 but as of now i give it a solid 7. Looking pass it's flaws it's entertaining as fuck with beautiful music.

Edit: I am now on episode 12 and unfortunately this show has been a rollercoaster of fuck ups. The ending shall decide if it falls down to a 6 or stays a 7. Now i understand why Angel beats is so controversial.
