Both tell the story of a more or less teenage male main character with a girl to their side they (have to) live together with. There are factions that want them to separate, on the other hand some people do everything they can to bring them closer together. Both mangas don't really follow a greater storyline, rather they are seperated into several short storys per manga. Though the main characters have totally different personalities, and the settings are also not really comparable, the way of telling the stories, and the stories themselves are quite similar. So if you liked Ranma, or Aa! Megami-sama! just because of the personalities of the main characters, I cannot really recommend reading the respective others, but if you liked the style of the stories, you will definately like the other one aswell.
