Unpopular Opinion, I really enjoyed this one, but I understand that for someone who doesn't love the Isekai genre that much this can be bellow average, but for me personally when it comes to Isekai I just wanna see a strong main character kicking butt and I literally binged all 12 episodes in one day, I often get bored after 2 episodes but I'm bias for this genre of anime, if you love Isekai and have very low standards for specially this genre then it's a solid 8, for any other anime elitist looking for some one piece level plot then it's probably not ... for you. but I had a great time and i only wish there was a second season. I loved it 8/10

here we are, 2020, episode 944 to the date when this review was written, I have watched this for so many years, for the anime has been ongoing for so long, and it's a masterpiece for me. It's one of the longest ongoing anime there has ever been, and on top of that it's a whole continuous story connected from the very beginning, all woven beautifully into a story that grows with you. I will admit I might be bias on this one but like many who've kept up with this story they've developed a connection with the characters and the ongoing story.
even ... if it's hard for me to understand, there are people who just won't really watch this or enjoy it. needless to say not everything is for everyone but this anime is a journey to me, and one that I can only describe with a 10/10
I take this with it's flaws of nothing showing scenes that make every episode longer than it needs to be. which I say if you add up all 944 episodes you could cut at least 200 episodes of nothing but useless scenes of nothing but, you just sit back and relax grab a snack turn the fan on and chill. it's worth every minute.

I stick to my 10/10

if I was to be unbias 8/10 I think is fair. take it or leave it.

I see way too many people taking this series much too seriously. this whole series is a good way to have a laugh at the misfortune of a man just trying to be loyal while being bombarded by constant temptation while having to deal with the desires of man.
it's truly hilarious and it's not meant to be watched for the story, there's nothing there, it's more of just this guy being thrown into situation after situation that test his loyalty to the woman he cares about, but ends up losing every single time. it's a comedy fanservice and that's it. and if you were to ... rate it by those standards in it's respected genre I have to give this a solid 8/10, I can't count the amount of ecchi where the main character is just a loser who throws away every opportunity in the most depressing way and it's been overdone while in this series takes the opposite approach, the episodes are 10 minutes long each + end and intro theme. you can knock this whole thing out in a few hours. I recommend to anyone looking for a funny fanservice. I would also make sure to watch the uncensored version. might as well.

A could have been masterpiece butchered.

I don't write many reviews, and this is an old anime that I'm sure not many will watch now days, and it's likely no one sees this but.
I need to say this and I will keep it short cause I don't like long reviews.

I'll start by saying that this anime had a very good premise, and the story drew me in instantly, I was in love with the characters and the plot. as things developed it only got better and better, I'd say up to around episode 15 or so can't say for sure but at one point ... they just dropped the ball after a certain time skip that took the anime from what I would have given a 10/10 or 9/10 to 4/10 5/10. but I have to be fair even if I'm very displeased with the way they decided to end this anime. towards the end they started doing a lot of cliché that started to make no sense, they changed characters in ways that didn't make any sense. as if they wanted to force the anime to be tragic on purposed and it was forced. the more they tried the more plot holes they left behind. I can only describe this anime as a beautiful Titanic that ends as soon as ship sinks. I don't mean that this anime is like titanic, I mean that the story is the boat itself. I wished I had dropped it halfway through.

overall I will give it a 6/10, I wanted to give it a 7. I really did, and the ending makes me want to give it a 3. but overall the amazing start and middle of it will carry my final score to a 6.
it's good but I don't recommend it. unless you're a fan of Shakespeare. and you can overlook big plot holes that make no sense.

This Anime Mononoke Hime is a 2 hour long movie. Ill start by saying this is a beautiful Story that will touch the heart of the viewer.

The Story is about a young prince that gets cursed while saving his village, by law he must leave in search of the cure for his curse. The world he goes out to is not beautiful but he has a pure heart and a strong will.
this movie is one of those that most anime enthusiast will find appealing.
now lets get to business, Ill start by saying that this anime does a great job keeping up ... a suspenseful atmosphere, there's always something going on where the viewer will want to stick to it and continue watching, the music fills the scenery of the beautiful surroundings and takes you inside, blending in with what is being portrait at the time.
the art of the scenery is quite great and captivating, there are a few details that if you pay close attention some might see but so tiny it really doesn't matter.
the character art for the main characters is well done, however a lot of the other characters such as the villagers most look the same, a better job could have been done there but it does not take away from the greatness of the story.
The characters, well what can I say they're interesting and by no means black and white, they all have things they want, they aren't necessarily good nor evil, which makes the entire movie making you wonder what they will do next, and making the characters somewhat unpredictable. I feel this is gold nobody likes predictable characters. as far as the characters background and growth go, well there isn't much of that, it is after all only 2 hours, instead the characters reveal traits of their personality and intentions, which is completely acceptable.
on a small note there are few heads and arms flying off their respective bodies but you seem to forget it because of everything else going on and the story.
I rate this Anime movie a 9 on the scale, and that is very high, even for me but I feel this story is a classic, a beautiful story, and sends a message not only about how we are as humans but to also value the life of animals and nature as a whole, and that every living creature feels, just like any of us.

Recommend: Yes, anyone who likes anime will enjoy this classic, and even those who normally don't could enjoy it a lot, because its that good. also this isn't bad for a child to watch if you find a censored version where they cut the scenes of heads and arms flying off, but even then I would still allow my child to watch it; just something for parents to keep in mind.

Pros: great art, touching and beautiful story, deep message, unpredictable characters, suspenseful, and good action all around.

Cons: they could have solidified the relationship between the main characters, they were kind of left in between one thing an another. I won't go into detail but you must watch and see for yourself.

This is one anime I started and finished a long time ago. I spent a lot of time keeping up with the upcoming episodes since the series was ongoing for such a long time.
I don't remember every detail of it, but I do remember enjoying it a lot, and it is one of those series where yo could watch 30 episodes in one day and still want more.
you see the main character and his friends grow stronger, and mature together as the story goes, and there is always a cliff hanger after every episode that keeps you hungry for the next one. Overall ... this series is among my favorites, the story is divided in arcs or seasons if you want to call it that, and they're all a different story yet its all connected making it a huge 366 episode story.
the music was among my favorite things in this series, it was catchy and engaging and felt very good, the art its its own, very well done.
The characters all develop differently and some more than others.
there are so many important characters in the series that makes it even more impressive at how they all are developed, I read a review saying they didn't do a good job on the characters but I would have to disagree. The amount of characters this series have. They're are all important and every single one haves a background and a reason to do what they do. on characters I would have to say they did a very good job.
and now I will explain why this series is an 8 for me and not the perfect 10.
and my 1 and only reason would be filler episodes.
Filler episodes took so much from the main story. my recommendation to someone who has not yet started the series, and is looking for a series full of action, is to skip the filler episodes as they come up. some fillers take several episodes and some of those are actually not bad, but some of them can be completely stupid and really take away from the exciting moments of the main story.

Pros: Long story to keep you entertained for a very long time, full of action that gets better as the story progresses, many characters with very individual personalities that can appeal to any watcher, amazing action music, and not to mention the opening and closing songs used are Extremely appealing, and some you will most likely love to download them. great art and animation of powers. an overall action packed series that will excite you every episode (non filler)

Cons: series took a long time to finish but since it finally finished it is no longer a con.
and the real con, Filler episodes that thew off the main story and character development.

know that these fillers can be skipped, making this one of the best series out there!

Recommend: YES, I recommend this series to anyone and everyone, as long as they like action and a good overall plot.

I decided to watch this series after Finishing the A D Police main series, which I rated and wrote a review on it as well.
This series in particular was a 3 episode short OVA and I will go with a 7 rating
These 3 episodes are all different stories that involve the same main characters.
All three episodes were a little twisted and had a lot of moments when you will be like "WHAT??" because some of the scenes are very ridiculous , and personally i found it funny; however I'm not sure if they were intended to be funny.
nonetheless every episode its ... entertaining, and they all have some kind of a sick sexual twist to them, but nothing extreme. music was good for the anime and blended right with the setting.
before you watch this anime I recommend watching another Anime in relation to Boomers or the Bubblegum crisis, ( I watched the Original A D Police which wasn't a bad option yet this ova can be more entertaining)

Recommend: YES (to mature Audiences) and audiences who already watch a Bubblegum crisis or A D police anime before

Pros: Short Anime, easy to finish, entertaining episodes, twisted humor(if you are into it)

Cons: No background on any of the characters.
not a lot of background on the setting or on whats going on
will have to watch any of the Bubblegum crisis anime before watching this before making any sense of it.

I'll start by saying this Anime has a short but good in-depth story. It was entertaining, I'm rating it a 6, which is a fine on the scale, this anime series is one I picked out at random on the list and in the beginning they fill you in with a bit of detail of the personality of the main character, and then his relationship with his colleagues, and at the same time gives you some detail of what is going on around the setting of the story, all at a very slow pace.
The anime later starts developing more into the story and ... its wrapped around the company the rebuilt the city and how the whole story revolves around it, you will see mild action, the action scenes are all explosive, lots of shooting and a bit repetitive.
I recommend this anime to die hard anime fans who want to add another to the list, this is a relaxing series with a bit of a psychological twist, if you are looking for an addicting anime that's very exciting then this isn't the one for you, yet I still recommend it.

keep also in mind this is an old anime from 1999, and doesn't have the same appeal of newer series, I also would recommend this to someone who is a fan of older anime series, the artwork and music are cliche of the old anime.

Pros:
in-depth story, good music, great art, good character background and development, psychological twist, (near the end) relaxing series.

Cons:
very slow paced plot, repetitive action scenes, a lot of unnecessary scenes with no dialog, (gotta find a way to somehow get to 12 episodes)

Final Rating 6/10
