I have never written a review before on mal and I wasn’t ever planning to, but this show has motivated me too.

A lot of the more positive comments are saying this show gets hate mostly from blood+ fans but I have never seen any of the blood series or movies, and I absolutely hate this show. Never have I seen a more boring and pointless show. Every episode is the same, have a lot of beyond mediocre dialogue that adds almost nothing to the plot with a somewhat eerie atmosphere, that while is present in the first few episodes quickly goes away. And then follow ... that up with a disappointing action scene with no stakes. So this show doesn’t deliver plot wise, action wise, and especially not character wise, as saya is one of the blandest mcs I’ve ever seen and besides the twins she’s the best character. The eerie atmosphere in the first few episodes was somewhat neat when successful but a lot of the attempts at atmosphere fail and just lead to incredibly boring drawn out scenes. Also idk how to fit this in the review but this show has absolutely no style whatsoever.

I wasn’t expecting much from this show but I thought how bad can you mess up a gory action horror. But I was incredibly wrong, honestly I’d prefer if this show was awful maybe than it would at least be somewhat entertaining.

I hate writing negative reviews, I think everything is usually worth checking out and I don’t like dissuading people from something they may enjoy. But I just couldn’t help complain about how little this show has to offer
