after the first episode i was intrigued to see where this show was going. 8 episodes later i stopped watching. im writing this review a full week after the shows end and for 5 weeks i havent given the slightest thought of this show. and for me that was its main problem. i didnt care about it. it had a solid 7/10 first episode then it was just mediocre or bad afterwards. the characters felt pointless the mc didnt do much. the girl with the mask was kinda cool (and shouldve been the mc)

ill skip the first episode for the review and go straight ... to the garbage.
basically this kid with his ninja friend go to a ninja school to learn ninja stuffs. seams easy if you maybe prepare or train a little or are a ninja before hand. our mc is non of the above. he is a regular human who knows nothing about ninjas not even that his dad was the head of a ninja clan then was killed by ninjas making his mum the head of said ninja clan also meaning she knows all of this but sent him there anyway... she must hate him. he then gets bullied by some kids from another ninja clan who dont like his family BUT PROBABLY KNOW HES NOT A NINJA. either way this annoying little shit of a character blames our mc for this head ninja of another clan that no one actually cares about no matter how much hes shoved down our throats. hes dead irrelevant and did nothing.

anyway the mum goes to prison for killing the ex head of their rival ninja clan but she didnt do it the mc's uncle kinda character did it. turns out he did it for revenge because even though the rival village leader was preaching peace among ninjas thats only after he killed the mc's father. so he kinda gets an episode to himself. then a fucking war happens because one of the mc's friends is a snake and betrays him to the cunty stuck up rich kid from the rival village. and then i stopped watching

the thing (person) i did like was the girl in the mask she seemed to be one of the few good characters in this show.
she had a good origin story. the mc's mum took her off the streets and raised her into a ninja she then became a body guard for the mc then she had some great fights with the people from the rival village. i think if the show was about her and she got more dialogue then she wouldve been a pretty good mc and made this show a bit more enjoyable
