Sadly, this is probably the worst season of Love Live so far.
All the technical aspects are incredible (art, sound, music, animation), but the story is just ass.
The order of events causes every single opportunity for confrontation of ideals to get extinguished before it can even start. The decision to deviate this much from the SIF All Stars mobile game's story causes everything that made it so great to just plummet into the abyss. Furthermore the fact that several characters' development arcs just got shafted or were basically non-existent.
The first 2 to 3 episodes were very promising, but after that the story took a complete ... nosedive, with maybe one or two slightly decent self-coherent episodes here and there.

So, I went into this series when it started airing not knowing what I should really expect. Yes it has a synopsis that outlines the general plot, but you don't *really* get a feel of what the show will be from it.

I'm happy to say I started watching, because my lord what a fantastic series. Right from the start you get introduced to multiple people that have a lot of regrets about their lives, and one of them actually gets to redo part of it.

While this may sound incredibly generic and kind of boring for a plot these days, the execution is what brings it ... to life. The "Initial" Kyouya Hashiba and Eiko Kawasegawa we meet are already very endearing because of the hardships they face in their current lives. When Kyouya gets sent back into the past, we get to meet the people he would look up to in his "Initial" life, but instead of them already being at their peak, they are struggling with their own lives and have their own challenges and obstacles to overcome, just like Kyouya has. This makes it very easy to want to keep watching, because you want to see how these characters are going to develop, and *if* they're gonna grow into the people Kyouya looks up so much or not.

This, along with the great art and AMAZING voice acting from the INCREDIBLE cast (Koga Aoi, Nao Touyama and Rie Takahashi, just to name a few) makes it already difficult to stop watching, but the inclusion of some very well-timed cliffhangers, actually decent to good drama and sprinkles of mystery makes Remake Our Lives a must-watch. This series definitely deserves a Season 2.

Alright, so this show... Oh lord, where to start.

This show is insanely problematic for a number of reasons, mainly the fact that a 12-year-old boy gets molested by older girls/women, and later a 12-year-old girl is also sexualized heavily for NO reason whatsoever.

There's nothing really remarkable about this show. Nothing stands out except for the problematic things.
The only other thing I can say, is that some of the girls had somewhat decent character writing and development? The episode where Frey cosplays with Koushi was actually really good, and the overall arc Atena goes through is also really good, although the execution of the latter is ... just... bad.

It says a lot that Kiriya is the least problematic character, mainly because she doesn't end up in those sexualized scenarios as much as the other girls.

So yeah... problematic show that sometimes tries to have good things sprinkled in, without anything else that really stands out.

Honestly, it had a lot going for it at the start of its running (the first 3 episodes or so). However, the longer the show goes on, the more it starts to leave all the setup and buildup it introduces back where it first popped up.

Especially the second half felt just completely dragged out and it seemed like it was constantly dancing around the things it set up - Satsuki mostly. With the buildup the show has around her, you would expect her to pop up at the end as some kind of challenge to the way Toriko and Sorao have been going about ... the Otherwold, or some connection to Sorao because of the comments Akari makes about her kinda looking like Satsuki, but nope - the only glimpse we see of her is by an apparition in the Otherworld that isn't even her. That's it.

Pacing is a complete mess, artstyle is kinda bland but not bad. Sound was good and did its job in creating very eerie atmospheres. Voice acting felt kinda 'off' sometimes and don't even get me STARTED on the Engrish with the American soldiers.

Overall, if you like creepy and unsettling shows this one is great, but don't expect a satisfying or logical ending, because you won't get it.

This show had so much potential, and a pretty good first episode, but from episodes 2 to the Izanami episode, this show just sidelined it's plot entirely and introduced us to some of the most annoying characters I've ever seen in anime. Hina is insufferable, and all the 'great memories' the cast makes together (as they are referred to at the end of the show) are actually incredibly annoying, unnecessary, distracting from the plot and wasted time. The 'countdown timer' is just there, Hina reminds us over and over again that 'the world is gonna end', but does anyone actually even DO something to investigate ... what's going on or what she does? NOPE.

This entire show is a complete trainwreck with bad setup, bad characters (aside from the hacker guy, he's a pretty interesting character with some good development and backstory) and a TRAVESTY of an ending. The only good episode was the aforementioned Izanami episode because it actually gave some development to TWO of the cast members and made Izanami grow, but even then the way it was triggered was just nonsensical as well when you think about it.

Overall, skip this show if you value your brain's integrity.
