Dec 16, 2021 Berserk is a pretty powerful manga with the core of its appeal being in a visual spectrum to instill emotions I think the author uses this more to tell the story than any dialogue ever will with the most impactful moments of dialogue being sparse and short in order to deliver more meaning and while I think the writing of Berserk is great its Berserk as a manga that toes the line of manga in a cutthroat manner making the best use of dialogue to give it a form of a story while relying mostly on the visual appeal of the author's art to draw ... Since theirs only one chapter out as of now ill make this very quick
Story: the story seems to be a mix of Attack on Titan, Berserk, and Claymore although it doesn't do so in any bad manner it sets up a pretty cool premise that seems to waste no time in moving the plot of the story which is appreciated and the world seems interesting with that gives some dark gothic fiction vibes like Totsukuni no Shoujo Art: nothing less than great the creatures called eclipses are really well done very lovecraft like a mix between bloodborne and something from gantz and panels are really ... SHORT REVIEW
Story: The story isn't at all complex and the movie is divided between moments between Kei and Kazuki and the big wigs in the local force that seeks to demolish the capital forces and but honestly a lot of what makes the movie great is the quietness of the film and the psychological tolls on Kazuki after killing a terrorist I'd go as far to say the movie feels almost documentary like mostly due to the setting and themes which gives it this arthouse vibe that probably causes it to go unnoticed. overall the story was good but I'd say its not the strongest ... The jaw dropping beautiful art alone of Blue Period attracted me to the series but once I started reading I was dying for new chapters.
The story is about a highschoolers named Yaguchi and how he falls in love with art despite the realistic struggle of becoming an artist and all the excruciating work and depression that comes with simply not being good enough to compete with others , having to take part time jobs in order to cover costs of cram school and painting supplies or the art universities that have such low acceptance rates that illustrate the fear of getting rejected. If Im completely honest ... Oct 4, 2020
Hunter x Hunter (2011)
(Anime)
add
Hunter x Hunter isn't honestly my favorite show mainly because of how i consider the firs arc to be dull in comparison to later arcs but wow after that first arc does it feel like you've jumped into something truly amazing.
the greatest strength to the show is that characters aren't starkly painted in cheap moral identities like "good" or "evil" someone who initially seems good in one scenario may seem evil in another there isn't a massive looming threat in hunter x hunter out to destroy the world rather its like a web of people with interconnected and differing goals that clash and while ... |
