If you're looking for a quick comedy about a lady failing miserably to entice her dense love interest then this is the manga for you. This manga doesn't get very deep character-wise but that's not what this kind of gag-manga is about. It's more about misunderstandings and embarrassing situations which some (Like Me) find hilarious.
And if you played or liked the Dr*gon Qu*st Series (Also Like Me) then you'd probably like this manga too, since the majority of the world/character building is based on it. It's a common approach for a lot of smaller authors I've seen where they take an existing world and play

Mirai Nikki is a thrilling anime with so many twists and turns in it's story that you never really know what's gonna happen next.
The story is dynamic, as each character can "change" the future leading to situations far from the ordinary. I also enjoyed the tension between characters as loyalty was put in question or as battles got personal. The art style is pretty good I gotta say, this is not an ugly anime. A few problems I had with Mirai Nikki was that it starts a little slow; only picking up around episode 5 (in my opinion) so I'm happy I didn't listen ... May 13, 2018

Sword Art Online has a fluid story, beautiful yet simple artwork, and a large cast of diverse characters. Personally the music wasn't very memorable, but overall SAO is a great anime.
For those just getting into anime, Sword Art Online is a great choice. It contains most if not all the elements (and cliches) of anime, to let you know what you're getting into. The story is interesting, with many fun twists and turns. And with the many sequels and spin-offs you can continue to watch and enjoy the SAO universe, or finish it and move on to the next big thing better versed in the world ... |
