So wow. I am very fortunate that I found this series after it was finished airing, let me just start with that. GOTW started out with some of the strongest characters I have seen in quite a long time, a very diverse cast that did well to stay away from the most common harem tropes. There was development and growth galore...for about 200 chapters....and then...things changed. You see at a certain point things just kind of fall flat on their face and you feel so terribly let down by the ending. Coming back to why I am glad I caught this series after its end,
...
if I had been hyped up and waited basically the year for this series to go bad for that lacklaster ending I would be FURIOUS. As it is though if you are new and coming into it, give it a read it is well worth it. It is a fun series with a somewhat unique presence its just....so many things unresolved. The ending felt forced and underwhelming and one of my favorite characters Dal Dal...well....wow was she did dirty. Beyond belief did Dal Dal get such a raw end of the story but, thats how it goes I suppose.

Not often will I find myself reviewing an anime, but in this case I felt it was well deserved, this show is truly a well presented piece of art that I will do my best to do justice to. Surely your know before even glancing down at the reviews section, this show is about time travel, if you are like me and watched Haruhi's endless eight all the way through, you are already feeling nervous for this show, but I assure you, all that worry is for naught.
Story: 10/10
The story is truly the best selling point of any anime, and going into this one
...
with high hopes I initially found myself extremely let down and originally dropped it after the third episode, however I did eventually pick it back up again from the beginning, and thank goodness for that! The plot follows the adventures of your resident mad scientist, Hououin Kyouma!!! A.K.A Rintarou Okabe A.K.A Okarin. At first this character childish, almost aloof nature is rather annoying, and the show starts lighthearted enough that I really well and truly had no idea what to expect, but things certainly take a turn for the worse, and how could they not whenever time travel is introduced. Something I feel must be touched on as well is the time travel mechanic itself, it is all well thought out and involves differing world lines, never once do you feel like the show merely uses the time travel mechanic to cheat, every single action taken has a consequence associated to it, nothing comes easy. Throughout the whole story the organization SERN plays a major part, as they are trying to discover time travel for themselves, though they aren't the only antagonist, Okarin himself is an issue interestingly enough. It's hard to really give you a good feel for the story without ruining any of the plot twists, which are abundant I assure you. But I will say, this anime is so masterfully presented, throughout it things will suddenly click, or old pieces of information you discarded as nothing will be a huge part of the picture, there are questions you'd never think to ask answered, and overall the ending feels good, nothing feels out of place, and all the loose ends are tied up for the most part, and as we all know, an ending can make or break a show!
Art: 9/10
The art style is simple and mellow, almost like a fine wine, nothing feels overtly over the top and there is no real "special effects" type of animation in play. It all feels very believable which lends to this storys credibility. While many might find this a "lazy" style I myself quite like it.
Sound: 7/10
The sound is a rather strange issue in this anime, the intro and ending themselves are beautiful, but there is no memorable score during the actual anime, at times this silence lended to the intensity of the scene, but other times I felt almost robbed of climactic music.
Character: 10/10
So if you want to know about the characters, please see their biographys, Ill simply be talking about development here!
The characters and their interactions all felt very natural, progression was all nice and easy, and despite being initially annoyed by some characters, they all started to grow on me! All the backstories given to us were masterfully done, and some of them were even startling in their intensity, you truly forget you are watching anime, and merely watch their lives unfold before your very eyes. It is always a double edged sword when characters are presented so beautifully you can't help but love them, it makes the series 10x better yes, but to leave them behind is a horrible feeling, these people you have come to love in a sense will be forever locked in time and theres nothing you can do to spend just a couple more minutes with them sadly. Each of their characters is truly unique, and none feel out of place or uneeded.
All in all, these series will take you for a ride you aren't soon to forget, I haven't enjoyed an anime this much in quite a while and I implore you to watch it, you certainly won't regret it, none of the hype is overdone, it deserves every bit of the praise and acclaim it has earned for itself.

wow it has certainly been a while since a magical girl series has deserved a review! madoka as most of you know is basically the standard for the genre, and while I feel the hype to be a little bit much for the series, in 12 episodes the story is certainly impressive, the characters and the story is what really makes this anime shine. At first it really starts off as a run of the mill show...but the twists and turns are all so wonderfully laid out that you can't help but feel sad for the characters, yet unfortunately the run time is really a

little bit short, so without backgrounds on the past, maybe some leadups, I don't feel for why they are fighting, none the less, check it out if you have some spare time!

infinite stratos...so I am definitely not one for writing reviews but i positively had to for this series, cliches by god cliches galore! The very thing that makes this series weak, is also what makes it so entirely pleasant to watch. All it is is one big cliche piled on top of another, not to mention the stereotypes, while this really leaves no room for deep character development beyond your traditional harem blah blah blah it is FUNNY. I kid you not i laughed through nearly every episode, it wasn't because it was necessarily smart humor or intellectual well thought out jokes, its because

this entire series is one big joke. To take it as anything but a joke will lead you to hating it. So if you just want something funny and quick, go ahead and watch it!

let me just say, this is a tough one to score, im going to go ahead and give it a 9, though it is very close to 10, i would recommend anyone to watch this anime, it is masterfully written, with a great story development, my only two complaints about this series, there isnt really a lot of diversity in the soundtrack, and there are 2 recap episodes within the main series that just dont need to be there, in fact, skip them if you watch it, its basically a 24 episode anime. The thing that really makes this anime so amazing though, is chi,
...
while many of the character are enjoyable, chi grows on you in such a fantastic way, and the whole ending to this series really just leaves you happy and content, the story wrapped up so well that you dont really feel disappointed or anything of the sort, the ending just feels right, if a little bit predictable.

So let me just start off by saying, if you have just watched, say, clannad, this is a great anime to jump into, while im not usually a fan of harems the excellent story and character development made it easy to look past. Nearly every character introduced does serve a purpose, and while in the first bits of this anime you may feel as if it isnt anything special, they all start to grow on you, by the time the ending arc starts, you feel such compassion and love for the characters that you want everyone to be happy! The story itself doesnt really contain
...
any filler episodes or anything of the sort, everything moves at a nice decent pace, though finding a good episode to stop after for the night it a real challenge! I do wish they had done a few more episodes myself, but that cant really be helped! Without giving anything away though, the end result actually had me a little surprised, be sure to see it all for yourself!

this anime has actually now taken the spot as my number one favorite, now right above code geass, while i admit the anime is a tiny bit slow at first it is all worth it, first 25 episodes really builds the characters and plot while the last 25 episodes are just a fantastic joyride, at times the story is a bit confusing because certain pieces are only revealed later on, the entire storyline was so well planned that it really felt well...real, it was an entirely immersive experience that literally made me cry when it was over because i knew that my journey was over...at

least with these characters for now...eureka 7 AO here i come!
