INFORMATION
This is the first season of this anime and it has 22 episodes. Appears on October 8, 2016 to March 18, 2017 on television. It genres are Drama, Game, Seinen, Slice of Life. The duration of one episode is about 25 minutes and is recommended for 13 years.
STORY - 9/10
The story, in my opinion, is quite well presented. It is about a boy who managed to become a professional shogi player in high school. The main character, Kiriyama Rei leads a very busy life because he is one of the few players to
...
reach such a high level. He is only 17 years old, but already lives alone, does not take very good care of himself and although he has the opportunity not to go to school because he is not obliged, he decides to return and complete his education. He has to deal with the life of a professional player and that of a teenager who has a lot of problems in his life.
ART AND SOUND - 9/10
The art in the anime is wonderful. The characters are well drawn, the picture well represents the emotions of the characters. The same goes for the sound system.
CHARACTERS - 9-10
Kiriyama, Rei - he is the main character. He had a difficult childhood, which prompted him to take shogi very seriously to impress his stepfather and "stay on the train," as he puts it at the end of the first season.
After growing up and earning money from professional shogi, he moved out of the home of the family that raised him due to a misunderstanding with Masachika Kouda's children. In the new place where he lives, he meets the Kawamoto family, who help him with his emotional problems and change his anti-social behavior. Unfortunately, they can't help him get over them completely and such emotional problems haunt him until the end of the season.
As the story develops so does Rei's character.
Akari Kawamoto
She is the eldest of Kawamoto's three sisters and has played the role of mother in the family since their parents died. Very good girl who works and takes care of 3 more people, not to mention all the little cute kittens.
Kawamoto, Hinata
The second of the three sisters. She's 8th grade, she's fun, she often is late for somewhere and wants to help his grandfather in a traditional wagashi shop.
Masamune Gotou
This is the main "villain" in the first season. He is a very old gentleman who's having a relationship with Rei's older sister. (spoiler - he becomes very interesting character in the second season)
OVERALL ENOJOMENT - 9
In conclusion, I liked this anime a lot. I was very interested and at the same time a little bit skeptical of shogi-based anime, because I know almost nothing about the game, but I was quite pleased. For most of the anime, I could feel that I had a lot in common with Ray.

INFORMATION
It has 24 episodes. It has been broadcast on Japanese television since Apr 2, 2004 to Sep 17, 2004. Its producers are Asashi TV and its studio is Madhouse, which has many other strong titles at the moment. The genres of this anime are Action, Ecchi, Martial Arts, Comedy, Super Power, School, Shounen. Each episode is about 23 minutes long and it is recommended for people over 17 (violence & profanity).
STORY
The story contains a lot of comedy, very good fight scenes and somehow not so badly fitting pervert scenes. There are a few things I didn't like. Half of the anime goes into stories
...
about the past and there is no trace of the main characters Nagi Souichirou and Makihara Bob. This is a minus for me because I got used to them and wanted to see more of their development. Nagi Souichirou's strength was quite overwhelmed. He managed to become so strong in negative time and I didn’t see enough of his progress through training. I think there was a lot more room for this character to develop, but it was wasted. Another thing I couldn't see was Makihara Bob's strength. I see him training, I hear him being told he will get stronger, but we never see him in action for unexplained reasons. In my opinion, they developed the story about the past better than the story for the main characters.
ART AND SOUND
As I mentioned in the information, the anime is from 2004. I've never seen an anime so old and with such good art. The characters and everything is drawn very well. Keep in mind this is my personal opinion. The sound is perfect like any other anime I've seen. I'm talking about Japanese audio, not English.
CHARACTERS
I like how motivated Nagi, Souichirou was at the beginning and how much he wanted to get stronger, but in the end he was piled too fast and that repelled me from him. I've already said what I miss about Makihara Bob, so I don't think I'll repeat it. A character who has developed to his full potential is Natsume Maya. I see her past, I see her present. This is how a complete character in an anime should look like. Natsume Aya is a character we understand very well in the present, but we know nothing about her from the past. What she did while her brother was alive, what she did after he died, there is almost no information about her past. Another character I know nothing about from his past is Takayanagi Masataka. What is his relationship with his brother, with his father and in general what he did when he was little? Natsume Shin is a character who is very interesting. Even for the period of the episodes with the story of the past, he manages to be a complete character in a very interesting way. Deep thinking is required to understand Natsume Shin. The last character I want to talk about is Takayanagi Mitsuomi. Something I didn't understand about him was how he became the main villain, and also how his relationship with Maya ended.
OVERALL ENOJYMENT
In general, I liked the anime very much, until the moment when the story of the past began, then it got a little bit boring and in the end things were too crowded without seeing a real ending. Overall i will give it a 7/10.

In most cases, the more parts come out of an anime or series or whatever, they get worse and worse. This is not the case here. We started with a terrible first film, which turned out to be a good preparation for the second. The second film was good, but the third ... The third was amazing. I completely enjoyed it. The story was full of twists. First he saves her, then he wants to kill her, then he saves her in a way that kills her slowly and painfully from within ... A brilliantly written script with a lot of thought behind it.
From time
...
to time there were some strange animations that I did not find put in place, but not a serious problem. The last battle between Araragi Koyomi and Oshino Shinobu was full of, I would say, strange but beautiful scenes. A really different kind of battle than the ones we're used to seeing. Just waving your heads.
The "sex" scene was also in place. You could feel how Araragi Koyomi felt and how eager he wanted to touch her breasts. The moment he started talking his dirty talk, he lost you as his fan and finally just apologized and won you over again as his fan.
I also liked the way Oshino Meme's character finally developed, and right at the moment I'm writing this review, I realize that they have the same last name, which makes me wonder if there's any connection between the two? Is he still human, is he involved in turning Oshino Shinobu into a vampire? How interesting. I'm supposed to give a review, but I'm actually asking questions.
Anyway. In conclusion, I will say that the whole series is worth it and I believe that somehow you can experience the boredom in the first film, and if you succeed, believe that it will pay off.

I'll start with the fact that I've already seen the second film and my perception of the series changed after that. However, I will try to recreate my thoughts from the first film.
I will not lie to you. For me, the first movie was terrible. The graphics are kind of boring, I'm not used to seeing these 3D animations in anime and the story itself was pretty boring. The whole movie revolves around a few bounces of women's breasts and the display of lingerie. Everything else is screams, which I personally find meaningless.
I was wondering how much it was worth wasting another hour of my
...
life watching the next movie, but in the end I did. Now I will tell you my point of view as a person who has seen it. In my opinion, the first film and a very long intro, because it makes a great opening for the second film.

What can I say about this anime ...? This is a masterpiece for me. It has brilliant graphics, but as we all know, it doesn't matter that much. They're just so good I can't help but mention them.
The story is very intriguing. From the very beginning, the anime starts hard. You see how the main character, Kamado Tanjirou, leaves his family for a short period of time and when he returns they are all killed by a demon without a single member. This member is not just anyone, but his little sister Kamado Nezuko, who, to Tanjirou's great misfortune, has become a demon and is
...
trying to kill him. As they fight, a seemingly unimportant character appears, Tomioka Giyuu, who saves Tanjirou and thinks it's right to kill the demon his little sister has become, but despite the scene from before, Tanjirou is against it and defends her little sister at the cost of his life. This dramatic moment awakens Nezuko's soul and she also intercedes for her brother. Tomioka Giyuu decides to believe the words of the two young people and sends them to Urokodaki Sakonji, who trains the young Tajirou in the basics so that he can pass the test for joining the ranks of Demon Slayers. You will probably wonder why he does it? He does this so that he can find a way to get his sister back in human form. There is no point in explaining what happens next, because I should have already won your attention, or rather you should have already played the first episode, but let me finish.
Remember when I told you that Tomioka Giyuu seems minor at first glance? Well ... He later became one of my favorite characters in this anime. You will see why when you watch it. Tanjirou and Nezuko go through many difficulties together. Nezuko even has to pass a relentless test to prove that she is different from other demons. Anime has its own style. One of the few animes that made me really smile as I watched, thanks to Agatsuma Zenitsu. Anyway, so far with the anime episodes.
It's really worth watching and I recommend it with both hands up. It even ends in a very promising way, and by "promising" I mean it promises Season 2. After a little research I did, I saw how long the manga lasted, so there's enough material for Season 3, even Season 4. There's only one thing I don't like and it has nothing to do with the anime itself. I'm annoyed that the reviews at the top aren't that good. They explain the anime as simple and straightforward. that there's nothing deep in it, even though these are only the first 26 episodes.Wait for the next seasons to release and you'll get the depth you want.

As expected the 2nd season wasn't disappointing at all. The whole season revolves around the tournament that Tokugawa organizes to find out once and for all who is the strongest fighter. The story around Baki unfolds very emotionally and dramatically. It all starts after he finishes his training to discover himself and continues in the ring. The 38 strongest fighters are gathered to show their skills. There are small, big, young, old, crazy, smart, just present and people ready to give their lives for victory. This season we can see how much Orochi Dopo's karate has improved, we can also see his son in action.
...
For me personally, it was very interesting to watch the performance of Shibukawa Gouki. This old man performed wonderfully and really proved to be a master. When I saw the battle between Shinogi Kureha and Shinogi Koushou, I thought it would be the only brother battle I would see this season, but I was surprised. The writers have turned the story around in a very interesting way, showing us how Jack Hammer actually turns out to be Hanma Jack. Before I get to the battle of the Hanma brothers, I would like to first note that there is already a connection between Hanma Baki and Matsumoto Kozue, which will be fully established in the 2018 series. Let's move on to the battle of the Hanma brothers. The fact that the writers make them two brothers also gives us a better look at Hanma Yojiro. We later find out that he actually had two wives in his life and the first one appeared in his youth (only 16 years old) and from there we see what he goes through to become the monster he becomes. As for the battle of the Hanma brothers ... They are both committed to one goal, and that is to defeat their father and avenge him for what he has done to their mothers. One chooses the path of hard training and difficult battles, and the other chooses a slightly more curvilinear path. This time he is training hard in addition to doping, which he knows will cost him his life and he will not be able to see old age. Fortunately, the dramatic battle developed in favor of Hanma Baki and he retained his title of champion, but still can not compete with his father's strength, but has made great progress. In recent episodes, we have seen Bucky's back take on the shape of a devil that is inherent in his father.

I'm watching these 2001 series anime in 2020 and i'm still amazed by the anime itself. I made a mistake. My mistake was to watch Baki 2018 from Netflix. That's how i found about the earlier series of Baki The Grappler so after i finished the first season of Baki 2018 i came into these series and i learnt a lot of the things i found for undone in the netflix anime. I like the entire idea of a kid from rich family who decides to live by himself. The first years of Baki are introduced to us really well. It is really original story.
...
His dad as a main villain is great idea. You can see him being the strongest and Baki trying the achieve even more power than his father so he can actually beat him but at least in this first season this thing do not happen. Baki goes through a lot of lessons just because he wants to defeat his father. He made a lot of friendships just from fighting. The transition from young ages of Baki ending with him loosing his mother on his first fight with his father to the 5 years more grown Baki is great. He seems stronger, smarter and more peaceful. The ending of this season is really devastating. You see this all grown up Baki who is a lot stronger then before and then his father comes in and kick his butt with 0 sweat and this hypes you for the next season because you wanna see how much stronger can Baki get.

So ... Let's start out with that i haven't yet watched Baki The Grappler but i'm starting it right after i finish this review. The Opening is really nice, could be perfect if the screaming was a little bit less. I needed a little bit more explanation on who Baki really is and on his past but maybe i will see this in the 2001 series so i can't really talk about this. I see logic in him becoming a lot stronger after he did sex but i also don't see it. He was way too different after this and the love story was a
...
lil bit cliche in my opinion. Im totally into the blood scenes and especially the scene where Sikorsky peed on Igari Kanji and i liked how they connected the story after those 5 criminals died with this new tournament and the whole poison stuff. It left me really hyped for the 2nd season thats coming this year!

(Spoilers as always)
I don't like that. It's not fair for Mayuri character. I find for way better when she told him to go and help her because she was important to him.
It felt undone when it ended like that.
I'm sure creators did the right choice thanks to this episode. Also leaving Okabe's character in such a pain isn't cool.
I haven't yet watched Steins;Gate 0 but i have read the synopsis so i can see it gives the perfect beginning for Stens;Gate 0 and i appreciate that. This is the best reason to watch it ! It was shame that the bigger part
...
of the episode is what we already saw in the original ending tho but its still acceptable.

The anime is very good, but with the following remarks. I do not like the way all the heroes are buffed. Those Saiyans from Universe 6 are getting stronger way too easy, just over one fight. By knowing all the struggles that Goku and Vegeta had to pass just for Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 2, this is unacceptable.
Also the buff of Android 17. How'd he got that strong just by protecting one island from pirates and normie evils ?
It could be great if we knew more about Jiren's story. Like how did he got that strong. What training he have been through
...
?! The God of Destruction, Toppo was very silly. I mean, first time he uses Hakai it is amazing, second time he uses Hakai is ok, but using it for entire fight without any other special moves ? Well that was not satisfying.
The end was really promising tho. I like that Goku and Vegeta promised to get stronger, also that thing Great Priest says ... ,,Zen o sama have greater plans for Goku probably'' ... Like ... This is clearly saying to me ,,No, we are not done with the series yet''. Also Frieza is alive again. Would be interesting to see if he keeps being enemy to Goku or he will join the good side the others. Thats all i can say, i think.
