This anime...
Let me tell you guys a tale. A tale of a young man on a quest to find an anime to show to his sibling. An anime like Sailor Moon or Mew Mew Ichigo. This young man was no fool, believe me. By judging the book by it's cover, this young man believed...BELIEVED that this would be the perfect show. I mean just look at the colors, and how the artists make the world look so soft.
But woe to the young man, for he decided to watch the anime first, to screen it if it was worthy to share and to tell another person
...
to "watch, watch those big eyed creatures transform and defeat things in the name of the moon!" Misery loves company, and this young man should have just shared it earlier. Watching it alone...leaving the young man alone with this anime is like tossing him into a cave with a television set always playing Narutaru. And then lying to him, saying it's like Pokemon.
Now listen carefully, this young man...IS ME. If you don't like watching sad stuff, AVOID this. AVOID IT LIKE YOU HOW AVOID A SPEEDING SNAIL. At the same time, I highly recommend that you suffer and watch this anime unfold.
Closing statement
Death to that little disgusting hive mind, "farmer" that spreads this sadness.

Zombies, zombies, zombies, and a whole lot more zombies. I really like it when my entertainment has zombies in it. And if you're like me, then you're going to like this show.
The story starts off in a school, where our heroes gather up, make sense of all these zombies in their backyard, and make an attempt to escape to a better zone. Like all good low budget zombie movies, you gotta have a beginning like this.
the story quickly moves on, and the zombie probably goes out of control for many countries. of course this doesn't make any sense, since in the real world, many
...
people watch zombie movies, and i know for a fact that many fellow americans own guns. of course for the sake of the story, the zombies gotta overrun the world. so the story transitions from outbreak to a broken world, and it is here where the story will remain. there is no cure, or hope that it will end. of course i didn't read the manga, so don't hold me onto these statements.
i liked every character introduced, including the villains. but no one really stands out for a great character. you got the never say die hero, the fat boy with self image issues who is also a gun nut, sword wielding princess, and a bunch of other female characters.
the art is fine for what it is. although, i know this show is suppose to be "ecchi." but it gets so annoying. so much jiggling, and panty shots, you ask yourself "do zombies get hungrier from seeing this?" eventually the jiggling of each female character's breasts lost all attraction, that seeing decaying flash was much more exciting.
although the jiggling does leave some funny moments, so i can't knock on it that much. i just wish it was toned down. overall the show is great for zombie fans, i am not sure if nonzombie fans will like it. unless they watch it for the jiggling then maybe they will like it. but also watch out for the dead! that will surely ruin your...mood.

When I first started watching it, the show was about people stuck in a game world, with the only way being out is to defeat the final boss. Now this can lead to many interesting things, like how the players react to this, to each other, and so on. And the show does in fact reveal some of these things to us. We can see people right off the bat becoming scared and sad that if they die in the game, they die in real life.
So there is nothing wrong with the setting of the story. Except for one little thing, and that is it
...
tries to be too much like the real world. The show has MANY filler scenes where characters yell out the same generic comment about how delicious digital food is. The filler takes up a good two-five minutes per episode. It is in EVERY episode so far.
Before I comment on another part on how it tries to be like real life, I must first explain the romance in this story. The boy named Kirito is a chick magnet. He attracts every female that comes into contact with him. So you would expect this to be some kind of harem. But it's not! He does pick a girl to romance, and it seems all the other girls acknowledge this. I am going to assume the rest of the show will display what a couple does.
Ok now back to how it tries to be like real life. Like with other MMOs, you can get married. A normal person would know it's not a big deal since it's just a game. But it's treated like a big deal in this virtual world. This is not a problem, it's what a married couple can create that is a problem. The third member of their family isn't really their kid, but they treat her like she's the most important daughter in the world! Within a day of being with her!
The story itself isn't bad at all, it is just the characters that make it bad.
The main character, Kirito, is nearly perfect. He grinds, grinds, and grinds to reach very high level and stats. He always has a solution to everything. Every girl he talks to falls for him. To raise the coolness factor with this guy, he receives a new skill (have to avoid spoilers for the poor souls that will still watch this crap). I am trying to think of his flaws right now...and maybe he has problems socializing? Nope, he can get along with anyone, and those he can't get along are just plainly evil or it's not kirito's problem at all.
I didn't think it would be possible for another character to be more perfect than him. A show having two mary stus? lol impossible.
Oh wait, his lover is one too. Except she's even better! And is the root of the food filler scenes. Her only flaw is that she can't live without him. Aka another female character that the writer decides needs a man in her life so she can function properly.
Honestly I was rooting for every bad character there was in the show, even though I knew kirito would dispose of him like yesterday's trash. The side characters are a lot more interesting than these two that's for sure.
Ok now that I'm done with characters and story, I'll move on to the next important aspect of the show, the art. If you can stomach boring perfect characters, long food filler scenes that amount to nothing, and can block out other characters mentioning how strong/cool/beautiful/nice/etc the two main characters are, I am sure you'll enjoy the art. Honestly this is one of the hardest things for an anime studio to mess up on, and that's drawing.
Although I do have one issue with the art, just one. The swords glow. It glows every time the character does an attack. And it looks really lame. But other then that, the art isn't bad.
Overall I couldn't enjoy the show. I stopped at 12 to save myself from the pain of watching it. I think I'll watch episode 24/25 just to see why the game creator did all this for. If you turn off your brain, I am sure you can enjoy this show too with it's delicious food, and light sabers.

This is one of my favorite animes of all time. The show, as you guys all know, is based on the videogame series called Bomberman. The story in this cartoon is about the young White Bomber, joining some kind of police force called Jetters.
Of course who would oppose peace, and the Jetters? An "evil" scientist and his own group of tiny little robots, with a blond tan guy as his second in command. Oh and there is another evil scientist that works for him as well.
Surprisingly there are some plot twists, so it's not just a journey from point a to point b. Before
...
these twists all occur, White Bomber must learn how to create different sorts of bombs, and surpass his older brother (who mysteriously disappeared).
It is interesting to note that by the end of the series, White Bomber never actually collects all the bomb crystals (think of it like a power up). Usually these kind of shows has the hero collect something, or go through tons of training before fighting the final boss. So that is another thing I liked about this show.
I wish there was another season, even to this day, but....
Anyway, you guys should definitely check this show out!
