In short, I didn't like the story but I liked everything else so much that in the end I loved the movie.
Now in more detail:
Story: 6/10
Extremely predictable, specially if you've seen any Lupin III content before. But it's not terrible. At no point I thought something didn't make sense, and it moves quickly enough for it to avoid being boring. The only real complain I have is that despite being named "The First" the connections with Lupin I are minimal and with some very small tweaks could be completely removed from the story, so if you expect some cool stuff about Lupin's past or

GGO is what I'd call the bare minimum for an enjoyable anime.
And it IS enjoyable, I don't regret watching it, but I probably wouldn't watch it again. The animation and art are what I'd consider "ok". There were some moments of kinda bad animation, but it's balanced out by some not really good but at least above average character designs (at least for the important characters, the background characters couldn't be more generic). Everything else was just average. And to be honest the same goes for pretty much every other aspect of the series. The story is average, the music is average, the characters are average...
