Story - 5/10
Generic mmorpg anime that is basically a seasonal must now.

Character - 5/10
The characters in this anime are decent but none of them really stand out. The story tries to slowdown the pacing to develop the characters and make them feel realistic, but fails at properly developing these characters fully. In particular, the main character Haruhiro is just an extremely annoying character that is always harping on a past friend died and literally spends every moment thinking about what this character would do. The only character that I found to be enjoyable would be Ranta due to the comedic value he brings to the ... series and how different he feels compared to the other characters.

Sound - 7/10
The soundtrack is good but not great with very few things being memorable.

Art - 7/10
The art and animation in certain instances looks great, but then there are moments were it seems like the series just dips in quality.

Enjoyment 6/10
The anime was pretty enjoyable for what it was but nothing revolutionary to the genre. If the anime had been better paced it would have easily been more enjoyable but unfortunately the pacing was just terrible.

This is my first review so please bare with me. Now lets get to it.

Story - 6/10
The story starts off amazing as we follow our main character Satoru on his journey across time to save the victims of a serial killer who is still at large. This journey mainly revolves around Satoru trying to save the killer's first victim, Kayo Hinazuki. This is where the story shines as we are shown Satoru's struggle to save Hinazuki which in my opinion is the best part of the story. The pacing of the story is really great through the beginning and middle of the story but the ... end unfortunately feels extremely rushed and poorly executed.


Art- 10/10
The artwork is amazing throughout the series and rarely did I ever see a drop in quality. The character designs are beautiful and the scenery is just as amazing. The artwork sometimes made me feel as if I was in the story which is a testament to how great it was overall.

Sound - 10/10
The soundtrack was absolutely perfect for this anime. Great Sub voice actors that did a great job bringing out the required emotions for each scene. Opening and ending was really enjoyable.

Character - 8/10
Character: The characters we were presented to were great and each character felt like they served a purpose no matter how small their roles. The characters are extremely well developed and feel really human which made the story feel extremely real. This series also has one of the best mothers in any series I've ever seen which is Satoru's mother. Absolutely loved her character and she is literally everything a mother should be and then some. My problem with the characters is that the cast does not have enough suspects presented to us and in doing so this makes the killer extremely obvious due to the lack of suspects.

Enjoyment - 7/10
Erased is an extremely engaging and entertaining anime but the ending really left me feeling really disappointed and cheated due to the mystery being so poorly executed.

Overall - 7/10
Erased is good, but its not great with the ending really ruining everything the first 9 episodes worked so hard to do. Watch it for yourself and wait until your completely done before you form a final opinion because it does start off extremely strong.
