When I watched the first episode of High School Star Musical, my mind was just screaming PriPara, so I had to make a recommendation. Both shows use a five-person team system, Star Team for High School Star Musical, and Dream Team for PriPara. The main characters are mostly one gender, boys and girls, respectfully. They also both have Junichi Suwabe voicing one of the characters. Really good anime shows so far and if you love High school Star Musical, I can guarantee you are going to love PriPara too!

Magical warriors! School students! Animal mascots! All three make up the similarities of both anime shows. Both are about magical warriors who attend a school. In BinanLove, it takes place in a high school, while in Happiness Charge, it takes place in a middle school. Both leaders are young and more energetic than their teammates. Only difference is Megumi likes to help others and Yumoto likes animals. Overall, just gender-swap the characters and this is your result.

They both have to do with siblings, and how complicated things are for the main characters. In Brothers Conflict, the main character is the sister, while in Uchi no 3 Shimai, it's the mother. No brothers are in Uchi no 3 Shimai, but both have (a) sister(s). (Ema is Brothers Conflict, and Fuu, Suu, and Chi in Uchi no 3 Shimai) Overall, Uchi no 3 Shimai is a genderbent, younger version of Brothers Conflict!

They are both music themed, and have idols in the series. They are also aimed towards girls, except Pri Para is aimed towards younger girls, while Uta no Prince Sama is aimed towards older ones. The only difference is that in Pri Para the main character is in grade school and the main character in Uta no Prince Sama the character is in high school. To wrap this up, Pri Para is pretty much a gender-bent version of Uta no Prince Sama and vice versa.

A lot of things are similar to Aikatsu and Pri Para. For example, they are aimed towards girls. They are also about becoming idols, and have special idol cards. The characters are also very likable in their own way. If you liked Aikatsu, you may just fall in love with Pri Para!

...then you might like Uchi no 3 Shimai add

Both are about "cute girls doing cute things in cute ways". While the girls are older in Ichigo Mashmaro, and there's less fanservice in Uchi no 3 Shimai, besides that, they're the same. Both are random, funny, and cute. They are great for everyone to watch!

...then you might like Aikatsu! add

Aikatsu is pretty much Uta no Princess Sama. Why? Because both anime take place in idol training school, and they are boarding schools. They also have a character who is interested in a music star. They also have characters who are music stars. Just flip the gender and they are exactly alike! So if you like Aikatsu, you will love Uta no Prince Sama!

These two. I wasn't expecting to laugh as hard as I did. Both of these are super humorous. I just laughed almost every single second of them.
