Both shows are pretty similar. They are action packed in Code Geass the Mechas are the Titan Shifters and have their unique powers. Both of them are about racism, hypocrisy, a MC with a plan to change the world to the better and Reiner has a lot of characteristic to Suzaku such as both of them want to die, but they can't make up their mind. They oppose the MC and both of them suffer throughout the show. Gabi is as annoying and racist as Nina. There tons of waifus and very well written and complex characters with theme exploration.
