Hello, I'm TheAngryNerd aka TheAngryNerd101! (Username inspired by AVGN. Also it describes me pretty accurately). Some people have also nicknamed me "TheIntenseWeeb" and in some places I'm known as RagingNerd101. TheAngryNerd101 was born from the aforementioned username.
I'm a skinny ass pale-skinned Mexican with poor social skills and a small build and stature. Self-proclaimed intellectual who's actually more likely to be mentally challenged.
Anime Fan History: I started watching anime in 2008 when I was 3, my first anime most likely being Pucca, Rockman.EXE, or Rurouni Kenshin, and possibly even Saint Seiya. I started watching more and actually got into it starting in 2015 when Dragon Ball Z piqued my interest. And my attention shifted completely towards it and I started treating it as one of the main mediums of entertainment I consumed starting in September 22nd 2018 when Dragon Ball Super was airing on TV. I started watching hentai in July 2018 :) My first hentai was probably Ten-en Koi Iro Alcohol or Ojousma wa H ga Osuki: The Animation or Bishoujou Manami. My first ecchi and show I decided to watch all by myself was Sunohara-sou no Kanrinin-san.
Aside from anime and manga, I'm also an avid movie watcher, reader, and a gamer- in other words, I consume all types of content! Feel free to recommend me something to watch, read, or play-- and don't be afraid to recommend me questionable or even horrible and disgusting things, because I'll consume anything! ;D

My STUPIDLY Pretentious "Rating System" (Unfinished) (HIGHLY Subject to change) (INCREDIBLY DUMB)
Note that anime in my favorites are in my favorites simply for being my favorites, regardless of the score I give them or how bad they may be (Pupa can be in my favorites for all I care).
My rating is based on 2 categories, each one makes up a different percentage of the overall score. Maximum score is 1,000,000. Personal Enjoyment: 20% "Objective"/Narrative wise: 80%. Certain entries are subject to different judgement (Ex: Hentai, Entries with no Story/Narrative).
Entries that receive different judgments are given "performance ratings" like in Etterna or Quaver. Entries can exceed given performance rating if they get a 95.00% or above. The equation is Performance Rating = Rating*(Percentage ÷ 95) or x = y*(z ÷ 95). Let me know if this hastily produced "equation" is wrong because I'm retarded and I'm trying to think of ways to be innovative with my ratings or some shit.
Normal Entries: (Movies, TV etc.) Normal Judgement. 80% "Objective" 20% Subjective
Odd Entries: (No narrative structure or anime with <5 minute episodes) Odd Judgement. 40% "Objective" 60% Subjective
Abstract Entries: (Stuff like 001, Music or Ai (ONA)) 10% "Objective" 90% Subjective
Hentai Entries:
With Narrative Structure: 70% "Objective" 30% Subjective
Without Narrative Structure: 30% "Objective" 70% Subjective
Do note that if something can't really be judged by one factor, in special cases it can be judged based on others. Exceptions to all of this bullcrap are bound to happen.
Extra points granted/taken to/from entries that excel/flunk in these categories:
Art/Animation/Characters/Sound: Up to +10% If horrendous, up to -10%
How well they satisfy target audience: Up to +5%
How good of an adaptation it is and how faithful it is to its source material: Up to +15% If horrendous, up to -15%
How "Objective" score is divided:
Story/Plot/Writing: 30%
Characters: 30%
Art/Animation: 15%
Sound/Music: 5%
Due to the 20% subjective rule, entries above an 8.6 "objective" score can make it into the 9.5 threshold, thus leading them to a score of 10. The same applies with the opposite, an 8.6 can go down to a 6.6. This same rule applies to every grade! So some entries may receive or lose a full 2 points for enjoyment, but do note that the final score is only what's in between my personal enjoyment and "objective" score. An "objective" 7/10 combined with a subjective 10/10 would form a 9/10. And an "objective" 7/10 and a subjective 1/10 would form a 5/10. Thus why there are separate ratings and rankings.
Note: Anime and entertainment in general falls into the category of "art", therefore making an "objective" rating / analysis of it impossible, after all, art is the most subjective thing in the world. My rating scale is NOT factual or absolute at all, after all everyone has differing opinions and value things differently. It more so serves as a way for others to look at other values like writing instead of just animation or scoring purely on enjoyment alone. Like, if someone trashes a show because they personally didn't like it, I can write a review which analyzes certain things that said show gets right and wrong to try to create a somewhat "objective" score. Things that I believe can somewhat be rated "objectively" are inconsistencies in writing, like plot holes or things that contradict set rules in the story / world. Like if a 10 year old character remembers living through an event that happened 12 years ago. That's undeniably terrible writing.
Think of it like using a plastic knife to cut a steak compared to a high-carbon stainless steel one. The high-carbon stainless steel one obviously cuts quicker and more nicely, making it "objectively" better. But some people for whatever reason, might still prefer to use the plastic knife. Maybe they think it's fun to cut steak with a plastic knife.
Rating Scale 9.5 - 10 (950,000 - 1,000,000) (95.00% - 100.00%) S - S+ - X Grade - Masterpiece.
I loved every second of it. It was Marvelous both "objectively" and in my personal opinion, flawless execution overall. These entries excel in every aspect in every sense of the word. They not only fit every criteria, they go above and beyond it, they create new ideas and can even be revolutionary and groundbreaking. Entries here shine brightly and are paragons in the world of fiction. 8.6 - 9.4 (860,000 - 940,000) (86.00% - 94.00%) - A - A+ - AA - AAA - Pretty much perfect. Maybe if it weren't for one flaw it would be a 10. Either that, or it fit every criteria for perfection but didn't go past the threshold and create something truly spectacular. Entries here are still groundbreaking within this respective medium. 7.6 - 8.5 (760,000 - 850,000) (76.00% - 85.99%) - B- - B - B+ - A- Great. Mostly everything was executed well. Meets the criteria and is proficient in many areas but not to the point of excellency. That or it doesn't utilize everything to its full potential. Essentially a series that could have been better but is nonetheless still incredibly good and worthy of high praise, or it has a few flaws here and there. 6.6 - 7.5 (660,000 - 760,000) (66.00% - 75.99%) - C- - C - C+ Pretty solid overall, but might be lacking in some areas. Still enjoyed it! Would be rated higher if it weren't for a major flaw or several flaws. The execution of its ideas could have been better. Doesn't stand out as anything really special but still holds its ground pretty well and floats like what you'd expect of a well made sailboat especially amidst the ocean of mediocrity. 5.6 - 6.5 (560,000 - 650,000) (56.00% - 65.99%)- D - D+ - Above average entries. Perhaps they had a great idea but utilized it in an unimpressive way or big flaws that deter from its quality. Either that or they're series that don't break the mold in any way and have some good things going for them that don't give them enough to be considered good but definitely passable. 4.6 - 5.5 (460,000 - 550,000) (46.00% - 55.99%) - D- - Average, generic schlock that tends to bring nothing new to the table, or had a good idea but used it poorly or had many unjustifiable flaws, resulting in a lower score. Perhaps had some good moments here and there but had plenty of bad ones to even it out. These entries are essentially grey matter and are usually nothing special. 3.6 - 4.5 (360,000 - 450,000) (36.00% - 45.99%) - E - Either it's shit that's so bad it's good, or mediocre crap with maybe a few redeeming qualities. Maybe had some good things here and there, but the negatives far outweigh the positives. Bad execution, low effort, and far too many blatant flaws that cannot be ignored. You could think of a seasonal that's generic schlock but with painfully mediocre execution.
All entries below this point fail to enter my personal ranked section, but are still included in the overall ranking. 2.6 - 3.5 (260,000 - 350,000) (26.00% - 35.99%) F - Terrible, it was executed very poorly. I'd probably watch it for the shits and giggles. This is the limit of "so bad it's good", where something can only really be good out of its entertainment value but is otherwise objectively awful. A story with tons of giant plot holes and bad characters etc. also fits here. Could have something decent going for them but suffer from too many mistakes and poor performance holding it down. 1.6 - 2.5 (160,000 - 250,000) (16.00% - 25.99%) F - Horrible. No redeeming qualities whatsoever. The only thing keeping it out of the very bottom of the barrel comes from only being comparably better than the worst of the worst, in other words, entries that found themselves not shitty enough to receive that title. I would barely consider this watchable. At least you can get a laugh out of them I suppose, but honestly at this point how could you laugh at something this bad? It's so bad, it's bad! 0.0001 - 1.5 (1 - 150,000) (0.0001% - 15.99%) F - I ABSOLUTELY DESPISED IT. There is nothing good about this anime, and I wouldn't dare recommend it to anyone unless they are a masochist. Anime here are so bad you can't even get a laugh or any semblance of enjoyment from them aside from roasting them to oblivion. This spot is reserved for only the worst pieces of media of all time. Either that, or the anime in question offered so little in terms of value that it cannot be rated, therefore receiving a 1. Stay away from these at all costs, they'll leave a ghastly taste in your mouth and you'll end up feeling like shit for wasting your time on it.
0 (0) (0.00%) Ø (N/A) Absolute Zero. There is nothing worse than this abomination, there is not a thing about it that is good. It is so unimaginably bad, that it is a grade that is impossible to reach. It's the 0 K (Zero Kelvin) of grades. A grade so low, you cannot possibly reach it, no matter how hard you try. This is something that NO ONE in the history of mankind won't be repulsed by. Things with the F grade will at least have 1 person in the entire history of mankind who will like it or at the very least not hate it, but things with the Ø grade are so mindbogglingly horrible that no one who has ever lived, is currently living, and ever will live, won't completely and utterly despise this piece of shit with every fiber of their being, so much so, that they'd rather gargle a leprosy-infected pig foot dipped in hot rat diarrhea than know of this thing's existence. Even Satan himself will be appalled by this thing's existence. It is so bad, that it is impossible to even come up with it, or comprehend it. It renders every idea of value useless, because it is actually impossible for anything to be this bad. 0 Kelvin, coined Absolute Zero, is the lowest limit of the thermodynamic temperature scale, it is the temperature at which all movement ceases and all disorder disappears. To further explain it, in order to receive this grade, it would have to be worthless. However, that cannot exist. If something exists, it it is still SOMETHING, so something that gets this grade wouldn't even exist in the first place, since it would be nothing. So that's why reaching this grade would be impossible, since it doesn't exist. So forget everything mentioned in this paragraph, because this de-legitimizes every idea of value we have, because it cannot exist, and a rating like this would be ridiculous.
(Highlight the following text to read it) Negative Rating. We already went over the idea of Absolute Zero in the previous paragraph, but what if I told you we could go lower? But how could this be? You could think of this: I can't have -1 apples. I can only imagine I had an apple when I really did not. Thus, in reality I would have -1 apple as compared to my imagination. So in other words, this is a rating given to something that only exists within our minds, such as the vast number of stories and characters I have come up with in my mind, so until it is all drawn and written physically, it does not exist, and is negative.
Negative Rating (Idea #2). In order to achieve this rating, it would have to break the laws of physics as we know it. It would somehow have to be below 0 Kelvin, which we all know is impossible to reach in the first place. It is something we cannot even comprehend. Negative Rating (Idea #3). The other idea for a negative rating would be that the content itself can physically HARM you, or even send you to your grave. X Grade. Impossible to reach, since in order to receive this grade the entry needs a perfect 10/10 (1,000,000) (100.00%) score. You not only need to fit every bill, but you need to go above and beyond each and every one of them. Imagine the Absolute Zero (0) Grade but opposite.
S+ Grade. Anything above a 9.9 (990,000) (99.00%).
S Grade. Anything between 9.5 - 9.89 (950,000 - 989,000) (95.00% - 98.99%)
