I truly have never had the pleasure of watching such a horrendous show , its is quite a blessing on this round earth to know that we as intellectual beings can create such magnificent garbage. I knew we were truly in for the mightiest and grandest of all stinkers when i got about 5 minutes into episode 1 and the dude chucks a carrot at a dragon and it blows up. I was truly perplexed. If you're a thrill seeker or a masochist this is you're magnum opus of hilarious bad , i personally couldnt withstand

I personally dont get why this is considered a horror. Maybe its hard to translate fear from imagery and text but i found it more a kin to oddities / mystery. Nothing to outstanding but overall a decent read. My first introduction to Junji Ito works and i'll say its not a masterpiece , but it sure as hell aint bad. My main gripe is i dont find it "horror" like which is why i decided to try to give it a read. so slightly disappointed by the actual tone of the book ,not disappointed with the read itself.

Compared to season 1 it definitely takes a different turn in tone. A lot more focused on the growth of Chise as an individual i find and how she deals with emotions / relationships. I personally dont mind the shift in tone and enjoyed it quite a bit. If you found season 1 to be a bit slow then i think season 2 onwards may appeal more to you as the pace picks up a little and has a interesting line of events occuring (trying to stay away from spoilers)
