Overall: 8.5/10
The show is unbelievably recommendable. Its funny, the tropes make you laugh at just how silly they are. The MC is overpowered but you understand the psychological desire for him to become powerful whilst also understanding his desire to stay in the shadows. It is a gem of the season and also of the year. Would totally recommend 3/3
Sid Kagenou is one of the most based characters ever to grace anime. He is unbelievably written, funny, cunning and dubious. Deliberately playing the background character, trying to fly under the radar all while being the mastermind. Running, although unknowing, the Shadow garden he
...
built is as strong as him. He has central control and authority, he commands respect. Carrying so many personas allows for such deep perspectives to develop. 10/10
Cid has an unbelievable relationship with all the supporting characters. He has a unique effect on all the Shadow garden girls, having saved each and every one of them from demon possession, they all hold him in the highest regard, with there devoted love and loyalty. He acts a guardian, whilst also being their friend and mentor.
He ends up having profound effects on all the characters he interacts with, apart from his doofus friends that are truly background characters. 6/7
Cid Undergoes major character development during the season. From his life on earth to his sheer power as Shadow, there is a clearcut line of development that is evident from his realisation that on earth, no matter how powerful he cannot beat a Nuke. His aim to change that fact as shadow blows many away. He is crazy, he is maniacal and he is delusional but he is able to capture our hearts through his antics and ability. At the final stages, concealing all this power as mundane man but slips of his skill are able to be detected by the best of the best. Masterfully showing that no matter how boring or inconspicuous there is always a hidden side to people. 4/5
The entire story is unbelievable. The tropes that Cid understands the shortfalls of humans and desires to become stronger still are funny. The truck kun coming to take him to the other world is another comical addition to wrap the story. The idea that his fantasy land that he shares with the girls of shadow garden, the idea of the cult, the opposing government officials and such all too be true is a truly enjoyable and underwhelming concept that gives the show a certain charm. 8/10
There is underrated depth in the world setting of the story. So many fantastical locations, secrete lairs, hidden bases and such. The show explores all manors of religious iconry along with dank and scary regions of the world. From the buildings to the landscapes, the world is masterfully created. 6/8
There is a large amount of lore that is not necessarily covered in great depth. Although systems like the magic system are covered, they are not totally explored in great depth. On another hand, there are constant lore drops, with the magical items and events that occur that leave for an ever expanding sense of scale of the story. So much to explore and so little episodes to unravel it all. 8/10
One of the most underrated visually stunning shows, little use of eye hinder CGI. This is one of the best looking shows of the season. From the gore, the scenery, the buildings and locations to the magic and fight scenes. Its one of the most visually appealing and interesting shows that has come to market recently. 4/5
Definely want another season 1/1

SUM: Its a decent fantasy anime, some noticeable uses of weird looking CGI but, overall its a decent show that I mostly enjoy, I wouldn't say everyone will enjoy it but most will.
From the episodes seen so far, there is an interesting premise that has both been and not been done before in the reincarnation in a new body sorta sub trope. It has had its moments, funny little quips but on the flip side there have been some atrocious moments that made me cringe.
The MC and main girl duo are definitely a combo, I'm still undecided whether I love it or just wanna
...
laugh at it. The main girl is the stereotypical cute, underpowered at first but developed into a semi powerful side piece sort of character. On a side note, it feels that this will evolve into a fully fledged harem. Some of the side characters could be interesting but at the same time, unnecessary backstory's of them could make the progression of the story choppy.
In terms of being a power fantasy insert anime, there is appeal, The MC being literally undead, and having all the skills that an undead king would have, make for an interesting subspecies of this story type. Currently, most systems are relative unexplored, integral to understanding the world is most likely the magic system, apart from a few spells and jargon, there has been little development or exploration of this.
The overall lore of the world is hopefully interesting, they have given light dabbles of it but major pieces of the puzzle are missing.
The antagonists are semi unknown at this point, hopefully upon further development there will be some major hurdle to increase the drama of the series.

Genuinely one of the greatest shows that I have watched in a long time.
The major relationships between both Shin and Lena as well as Shin and the rest of the squad have so much depth. Shin and Lena show a major progression over the course of the season, which easily could be described like the melting of ice, slowing warming up to each other and being connected.
Shin and the squad also have such a profound relationship, sharing in the death and despair of the battlefield as well as constantly losing those around you. Each sharing a bond only obtained by a baptism of
...
fire. Watching the sadness and depression of the progress of the dwindling numbers of the squad after each battle, the toll of the fighting.
The story is unbelievably interesting, going on the premise of the unstoppable and infinite enemy while the protagonists are human and not expendable no matter what the overarching evil government believe to be right. It explores the certain tropes that are splendidly expressed and overall, it was one the best and most heartrenching anime of the season.
It is a fantastic anime that totally encapsulates the dreams and desires of many, fighting an unkillable enemy to the last man. Story wise it is also one the best and no matter the experience of the viewer it is undeniably recommended to all.

As one of the titans of the genre, and one of the more dominant series to come out as late. Its one of the most exciting prospects of the season.
Such substance, The characters have so much depth, seeing the progression of the story is eye opening and interesting. The arcs are claimed to be some of the saddest and best simultaneously. For the anime only watches this will be treat to see how everything unfolds.
With a focus still being on Itadori, seeing his growth and potential, in conjunction with the growth of the other first years and other major side characters all intertwines for
...
an interesting experience.
Many who have watched the first season and are expecting a lot will be keen for this. The first season is necessary.
