Luck & Logic

The setting is a colorful "Earth" beset by strange magical beings. A group of teenagers are largely responsible for using superpowers to fight these beings. The format of the show is mostly "Monster of the week", with many disconnected single-episode plots Despite this, there is one larger incident introduced early and addressed in the show's final arc to act as a capstone. Both shows tend towards lighter action, with few moments that are legitimately dark. (Phantom World is somewhat lighter on average, but more competent at going dark) Both shows have moderate fanservice and very light harem-esque aspects (Luck & Logic is heavier on the fanservice and romance)

SSSS.Dynazenon

SSSS.Dynazenon and Shikizakura are both shows that try to evoke Tokusatsu genres (Kaiju and giant robots in Dynazenon; Sentai-style heroes in Shikizakura). Both shows are also ultimately stronger on the human element, with good quiet chemistry between their characters aside from the supernatural battling, despite having good action. Dynazenon is deeper and more emotional while Shikizakura is more light and fun, but their strengths are ultimately similar.

Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai

Both shows are very well-done romances with great chemistry between their characters, set in high school settings. Toradora! is a more comedic take grounded entirely in the real world, while Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai is more dramatic and has a paranormal edge to it.

Darling in the FranXX

While significantly different in genre and setting (Darling in the Franxx is Action/Mecha while Mekakucity Actors is surreal Urban Fantasy), the shows provide, at times, remarkably similar experiences. The shows share two of their primary draws -- a compelling atmosphere of mystery and a well-developed, relatable cast. Both casts are quite large and consist primarily of teenagers with complex interpersonal relationships between them. A number of the characters in each cast can be seen as parallel to one another, such as both shows featuring an important girl who is part "monster" and has serious image and trust issues because of it. Both shows are ultimately more character-driven, with the 'main plot' serving as something of an afterthought. Both shows do not truly reveal their primary antagonist until the final episodes Both shows have elements they do amazingly well alongside deep flaws in other aspects, and will appeal more to viewers willing to forgive such inconsistent showings, or who might even prefer them, rather than those who would prefer a consistent but merely average performance.

Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru
|
Both are Magical Girl shows with a sharp contrast between the loss, despair, and suffering of being a Magical Girl in their setting, as opposed to hope for something better. Yuuki Yuuna is more optimistic, with lighter slice of life elements, while Madoka is darker with a stronger focus on (and stronger) conflict.

Tasogare Otome x Amnesia
|
Both stories feature a relationship between a boy and a sweet, energetic ghost girl. AnoHana gives the leads a history and presents as a tragedy or drama with only very occasional comedic moments, while Tasogare Otome x Amnesia sees them meeting for the first time and presents primarily as a comedy with a surprisingly effective and heartfelt tragic/dramatic edge at times.
