...then you might like Sonny Boy add

Both concern journeys without clear destinations, split into vignettes of the characters' experiences along the way. Both are interested in isolation, decay, guilt for crimes unknown and an inability to return to normality. Both also have a sort of otherworldliness to them, in a way that runs deeper than Sonny Boy's surreal imagery. They made me feel similar emotions watching them.
