Negative-kun to Positive-kun

Main characters look similar in both thay you may get confused easily. They also have similar attitude, maybe I wouldn't call Rihito in Classmates ''negative'', but he has this gloomy vibe, you now. Both are light boys love stories, short and sweet, which you can read on one evening. They don't contain adult scenes, there is only kissing, so there won't be any cringe lol. Main charcters attend the same school and are a couple at some point, though in Negative-kun to Positive-kun they are couple from the start of the series already and in Classmates we follow their fall in love story, but everything happens so quickly there, so don't worry, you'll get immersed in both stories easily.

Cheerful, mini comedy series involving characters working with manga related subjects. Full of fangirl/fanboy acting, as both group of friends are, of course, manga fans. Also, there is doujinshi/ manga making process mentioned and related stuff, as cosplay, buying manga and merch, etc.

Not only both are Studio Ghibli movies, but generally have very similar theme. In both, young person is going away from city to little house in village/close to the nature to rest and get better. They both make friends with rather strange girl - in Omoide no Marnie it's not a real person, but a memory of person who lived earlier and in Karigurashi no Arrietty it's a very little girl, Thumbelina alike. This friendship changes boy and girl and after this they become more open to the world and stuff. Also, in both we have very good songs in english, touching and heartwarming. Not to mention that the art and landscapes are simply beautiful animated.

You may wonder how those 2 animes are similar because they seem so different, they have many similarities too. Both are about anthropomorphic animals who act like humans. They go to school and to work, fall in love and have worries. Worries are darker in Beastars as the animal part is quite important in this anime (how herbivores act with carnivores etc.), because in Aggretsuko the theme of the animals is not very important, it's just their appearance. However, I feel if you like slice of life about some serious matters (like money, job problems, being fired in Aggretsuko or violence, sex abuse in Beastars), you should like both for their different aspects. Agrretsuko is way more comedy, so if you are looking for something lighter after watching Beastars, go for it.

We have pretty cool main character surrounded by group of friends who are all similar in both series - lead female being tsundere and certainly having feelings for main character, other, pretty cute and kinda loud deredere who eventually starts to develop feelings for him too. Then we have another girl with our male, and so little harem is ready. Not to mention another male character, sweet and helpful one, loved by everybody and some other friends too. Both are romance and have slice of life themes. Both in their own way touch 'fantasy' world, though in Toradora it's just matter of title, and in Hataraku there is whole universe created. After finishing Hataraku, I had feeling that I saw something similar before and then connected it to Toradora. I had much fun watching those animes.

Atmosphere in both is so similar! Colorful art with game themes, at some point characters are travelling in a group, buying items for crystals and money and solving political problems, like in game. Music is also similar - very touching and peaceful while they travel, showing us fantasy scenery with sunrise light and talking about friendship themes, but sometimes it has more action and it happens of course when we have some fights, because in both animes we'll see them. In both our main character is taken to another world, where he meets monsters, elves, loli girls, etc. I would say Gate treats more about policy, while Overlord is focused on epic fights though.

Both animes treat about sad theme - death, which is taking away person you love the most. At first shows look like very sad, depressing and hard series, but they're certainly not like this. If you look closer, they're quite colorful, though very peaceful. Quite modern art, colorful animation, soft (and not sad) music and theme of everyday life make them very light series, which can help you understand death and life more, but probably won't left you depressed for a months.

Both series are pretty relaxing, calm animes with a small romance, taking place in summertime. We have group of five friends having fun, but yet their problems with love and friendship. One person loves another, but this other persons is in love with someone else, this is clearly visible there. Those series are slice of life with a bit of supernatural themes.

Sad drama stories about distance between people and also distance in love. In both characters try to reach themselves, but in another way. Both have the same, melancholic feeling, though Kimi ni Shika Kikoenai is more dramatic.

Both are action titles with main girl protagonist, who is kinda scantily dressed. This girl fight with second girl and have supernatural powers and guns, of course. In both we can see relationships like friendship between main girls. Those titles are both good and at the same level for me.

I just can't believe that nobody wrote recommendation for those two, so I decided to write one. Both are shows which many people watched in childhood. They are shounens for all ages. In both, main character travels with his friends. They fight together and have battles in the arenas and stadiums. In both animes they use kind of 'beasts' to do it. They also have rivals and want to be the master.

Both are about fighting, in Naruto as ninjas, in Metal Fight Beyblade in Beyblade with beys. Main male characters - Naruto and Ginga are very similar in many ways - both want to fight no matter what (most all day), they're fighting to the end, never give up etc. Both loves to eat. They have dreams - Naruto wants to become a hokage, Ginga wants to be the best blader. Both have rivals and meats many friends in their ways. Also, both animes are very exciting and gives much emotions.
