Itoshi no Muco

Both revolve around a pet and their 'family' as they get into silly mischief. Itoshi follows an average dog as it shows the funny interaction, where the dog can understand her owner but he obviously cannot understand her. It is a interesting style of showing what the dog is thinking but showing to her owner she is just a normal dog doing dog things. Dog owners may relate :P. Poyopoyo is a bit weirder, following a round cat and the episodes are usually very random. Both are fairly short episodes, Itoshi being 12 and Poyo being 3 minute episodes.

Although the stories are fairly different, they both have a focus around fighting cats. Free Collars Kingdom features cats who have declared their independence from humans who have abandoned them. The characters are portrayed as humans with cat ears and tails, and seem to be seen this way by one another, however to the humans in the story they are just normal cats. Gakuen Sousei Nekoten! features cats and humans who fight as partners to defeat an enemy. The cats are portrayed as normal cats, but each have a special ability with their human partner, which allows them to transform in certain ways to help them fight.
