You choose a group of friends, and then you suddenly find out that they will start looking down on you, because you're arent like them. Even though you wanted to be.
This story is about a girl Erika Shinohara, who's obsessed by getting her friends to be "jealous" of her. Her best friends have the best boyfriends, and that's really all they're talking about. The only way she can become closer to them is by finding the perfect guy out there.
She tells her friends about her romantic experiences, but the problem is she doesn't even have a boyfriend. In her despereate position, she finds
...
a guy in the street and decides to take a picture of him to show her friends. But her friends suddenly recognized him, he was her school mate named Kyoya Sata. When she found out, she needed to talk to him, and actually he seemed like the perfect nice guy. So she asked him to pretend to be boyfriend. The thing is that his perfect personality was all a part of his act, and he was actually a very cold-hearted person. So he would only agree if she pretended to be his dog.
Story: 8
I've always been very interested in cold-hearted guy characters. But most of those characters are just all the same. They had a bad childhood, they're parents left them, they just have no feelings towards other people. But that changes. But not in this situation. It's not like the other stories. It's a funny story about Erika and Kyoka who both are very stubborn, but in some way they always work their things out. Later on feelings begins to start between the two of them, and the whole plot just gets even more interesting, it's diffenetly not a regular couple we're reading about.
Art: 8
The art is really not anything special, but it's still very beautiful though.
Character : 7
The characters.. Erika is well in the start just the typical light-hearted, funny, desperate girl. But later on she gets more honest with herself. She's not really the shy girl, you mostly see in Shoujo mangas. More like the girl who talks the most, and she becomes more open towards other people, does get naive at times, but that's one of her cute sides.
If we look at Kyoka, he starts of like the jerk type. He never reacts to anything, and only gets mad at Erika when she doesn't agree to something. He's negative, don't care side is the most showing at the start. Kyoka is a honest guy, he says what he wants to say, but only those things he finds necessary to say. There's nothing more disguting to him then Lovey-dovey couples, which keeps him and Erika's relationship very interesting through this manga.
The other characters are all the same. There's always someone to talk the main characters to do things, and support them. There's always those who stands in the way. But they does keep the manga more alive and interesting.
Enjoyment: 7
I would've given it more, if there were some more orignal problems in it. The whole hating lovey-dovey couples keeps the enjoyment on 7, it makes this manga such a comedy. But it's always going to be the same though.
Overall: 7
I do recommend this. It's a good comedy, romance, shoujo manga.

This is the first review i've ever written, but i hope you'll like it anyway.
Mirai Nikki is kind of a creepy love story about a broken person called Yuki. He doesn't have any friends in school, but does have some in his fantasy. He suddenly finds out that he's fantasy friends wasn't just an imagination, but actually was the god of the world. The god called Deus created a survival game where only the strongest player could survive and take over as god of the new world. All the participants got their own future diary, and they had to use them to find
...
and kill each other. When Yuki got his diary everything seemed to be going well until he suddenly talked to the most popular girl in school, Gasai Yuno. She was also a diary owner who had been stalking Yuki for years. She was always the one to save him and he was just about to fall in love with her, until he found out about her secret.
Story: 10
Because the story was always so unpredictable and it kept the excitement throughout the whole show. It's actually the first show i've seen without a pause. It really kept my interest until the very end. There's so many happy, sad, romantic, exciting, interesting and unexpected moments where you can almost fall down from the chair. The story is actually very unique with lots of action and it's still keeping the romance in place. There did happend some ridiculous things through the show, but i kinda seem to like them anyway. I give it a top score because it is insane at all time, but still there was nothing that seemed to make me think about dropping it at all.
Art: 10
Well, what can i say? The quality of the whole show was really good, especially at the action scenes. I don't have anything to complain about it.
Sound: 10
The voice of the characters matches their character perfectly in sub, at first. The music in it was also really good. The opening song was very interesting and it really fit the show perfectly. The music at the actions scenes were really creepy actually, but the show is creepy at times, so i couldn't really complain about it. The music was well done, and well set up, and i enjoyed every moment of them.
Character: 9
Now i'll just be taking the most important in the shows to me.
Yuki's Character: He's a really weak and broken person, because he never learned to stand up of for himself. He cries alot through the show, which started to annoy me so badly. He's a naive little kid, who at first believed everything people tells him, fx when he was trying to save sixths.
Spoiler:After his parents got killed he became a stronger and more interesting character. Yuno told him if he became god of the world he could bring his parents back. He started getting alot more into the game and had no problem killing after it. But when he suddenly got told that it was impossible even as a god bringing people back, he got all weak and twisted again.
Yuno's Character: Yuno is/was my favourite person in the show. It was really enjoyable watching this cute girl kicking ass for real. She is such a sweet, but still hardcore and cold person to everyone but Yuki. You know from the start how much she loves Yuki and she had put her life in danger so many times to save him. She had a really bad childhood where he parents had locked her in in cage and that seemed to create the person she became. She has no problem killing people as long it's helping Yuki. She has this creepy side, because she is actaully a very overproctective person, who just wants Yuki to be happy and seem to have a hard time trusting other people. But Yuno's role through the show keeps changing between the bad guy and the hero. But to me she seemed mostly like the hero.
Akise: Akise is one of Yuki's classmates who loves to investigate things. He was known in the class as the freak and didn't show up at school many times. At first when Akise showed up in the show, i actually believed that he was a bad guy, but then he seemed to be the one to save everybody, and was actually a quite good person and then again he seemed like the bad guy again. He was one of the most unpredictable characters in the show, and you never really knew where you had him.
Ninth (Uryu Minene): She was one hell of a great character, who was a terroist, she arrived as the bad guy also in one of the first episodes and started bombing the whole school, but later she got very important in the show. She had the escape diary which helped her hiding from the police. She keeps showing up at good times and always gave a helping hand. She's a hardcore, strong and actually a good person deep inside with a very bad childhood. Also one of my favourite characters.
There's of course alot more cool characters, but i did try to get the most important and my favourites in it.
Enjoyment: 10
I usually get tired of an anime really fast, but as i've said many times now it kept holding my interest through the show. There was so many special moments where i couldn't stop laughing, crying, getting angry and such. But it was so enjoyable and i could just re-watch it 20 times more. Really.
Overall: 10
It was such an unique and exciting story, and i know that future diaries seems odd, but this really blew my mind. I'm so thankful for watching such a great anime and i would've loved everyone of you to have the same experience with the show as i had.
