I don't even know where to begin about this amazing manga. I might be a little bias about how good it is simply because it was the manga that started my addiction. But I can back up why it is one of my favorites. Fruits Basket while chalked full of cliches is an endearing story that just touches your heart. You fall in love with all of the characters even the ones whom you hated at first. At first the naivety of Tohru might grind on your last nerve but over time she grows on you and you really support her through all of the ... trials that she has to go through. My favorite character by far is Kou, he just pulls on my heartstrings and I always wanted to gather him up and sooth all though worries and frustrations away. I honestly could go on and on and give several very detail lists about why you should read this manga but that would take up too much time, so I'll just end this with review say that I highly recommend this manga!

I am back for another review! This time for 1/3 Romantica

Story: 6/10
Although for such a short storyline, the author had a very good idea.
I thought the chemistry between the two characters were believable.
However, because of such a short storyline, everything was rushed and so I felt the relationship went faster then it would have if the story had been longer.

Art: 7/10
The art in this manga is fair it is nothing spectacular in fact; I found it somewhat boring.

... Character: 6/10
Because it was a shorter manga we did not get to see the characters develop as well as I think they could have. However, the chemistry between the two characters was very believable for such a short manga.

Enjoyment: 6/10
This is manga I would only read if I wanted, was pressed for time, and wanted to relax and not think at all.

Overall, I would rate this manga a 6 because it is nothing spectacular and it would have been a better if it had been longer. However, it is a good read nonetheless.

Red River also known as Anatolia Story, is a historical fantasy shōjo manga series by Chie Shinohara.

Story:
The story is about a 15 year old girl named Yuri Suzuki who is transported through water from Japan to the Hittite Empire by the evil queen Nakia who means to use Yuri as a human sacrifice to kill the crown princes and put her son Juda on the throne.As the story progress, however, Yuri not only repeatedly manages to escape Nakia's scheming, she also becomes revered as an incarnation of the goddess Ishtar and falls in love with prince Kail.

Art:
The art of this manga is fairly simple and ... yet very intriguing. You can tell that this manga was made in the 1990's.


Characters:
I loved the characters in this story. Although a little annoying at times, Yuri was my favorite by far. She went from being a weak, very annoying character to a strong willed, kindhearted fascinating character.


Enjoyment:
I enjoyed this manga very much. I loved how Chie Shinohara works a love story into the historical point of view.
It was fascinating and wonderful. I would definitely read this manga again.

Overall I would rate this a 9 but if the story had been slightly better it would have been a 10.

Saruyama! Is a Japanese Manga written by Shouko Akira and published by Shogakukan.

Story:
When I first started reading Saruyama, it really reminded me of Love Com.
The main characters are complete opposites but are still the couple is completely lovable.
I found it funny that Haruna Aizawa thought that high school was like a monkey mountain. What makes it funnier is she fell in love with a boy who looks like a monkey.

Art:
The art of this manga is actually simple and a little on the boring side.
However, the storyline makes up for the lack of interesting art.
...
Character:
Although the characters of this story are relatively simple. (They have little to no depth.)
They make up for it with their humor and sarcasm.
My personal favorite character is the main protagonist Haruna Aizawa.

Enjoyment:
I really enjoyed this manga despite the simplicity of it.
So over all I'd rate this an 8

Hmm... what to say about Dance in the Vampire Bund...well personally I like the manga better but there is still much to say about the anime.

Story:
I found the plot interesting. However, the anime storyline lacks very important information. We the viewers are constantly wondering why something happens when it does which I personally found VERY frustrating.
Not to mention the ending where we're all left hanging...which I hated because now we have to wait to see if they make a sequel so we can find out what the hell really happened.

Art:
The animation in this anime was fantastic! Shaft really did a good job of ... making everything so life-like and realistic. My favorite part is where the camera moves up and gives a full range of the body of the character and then focuses on the eyes that are obviously a personal touch done by Shaft.

Sound:
The opening to the anime was well to put it in simply boring. It did not really suit the mood of the story at all.
However, I personally liked the closing to the anime. It is not something amazing but it does provided a simple yet catchy ending song to the anime.

The background is excellent you can hear every sound.
The voice actors are well fitted to their characters in a way that you cannot imagine anyone else voicing them.

Characters:

While most of the characters are...with lack of a better word their stereotypical.
Mina is the only one who shows more depth with her sarcasm and all mighty personality.
Although I personally did like the anime only character Mei Rin, the cracking sound when she bites hard candy just gives me a chill. She is a bit too forward with Akira but I personally found it funny how she constantly tried to make him uncomfortable.

Enjoyment:
I received much pleasure from this anime. Although lacking in storyline and in depth of the characters. This anime kept me on my toes, it kept me wanting to know more. I watched each episode trying to figure out what was going to happen only for the episode to end in a way I did not expect which was thrilling but also a little frustrating at times.

Overall:
Overall I would rate this anime a 10 just because of my personally enjoyment. Nevertheless, for the sake of other people who do not quite share the same opinion I would rate this anime a 7.


You might not like this anime if you hate vampires or werewolves.
It has many political things, which I know a lot of you readers find to be boring.
There is some blood and gore so if you are not into that then you should probably avoid this anime.
If you are super into sugary sweet romance then you are not going to like this anime, however if you like the whole forbidden love thing then this anime is for you.


Now this is my personal opinion and I am not forcing any of you to share it.

Ouran High School Host Club is anime produced directed by Takuya Igarashi and produced by Bones.


This is one of the best “reverse harem” animes I have ever watched.

All of the characters are equally lovable and hilarious.
The development of them is the biggest plus of this anime.
As you watch you notice each of the characters all have bittersweet pasts but remain completely different from one another.
I found my biggest enjoyment was watching the twins Kaoru and Hikaru fight with Tamaki over Haruhi. It makes me crack up every time I watch them.

The animation of this anime is simple but still good. It gives you basic details ... of all the characters different features. As well, as details of everything around them.

I really enjoyed the opening of this anime. I found it catchy and I listen to it on a regular basis. The ending is quite enjoyable and makes you want to watch the credits at the end of every episode.

I really enjoyed this anime. It was completely original and funny.
So overall, I would rate this anime a 9.
