Its a recap ... thats about it. Just kinda shows the main stuff from the first season through Elizabeth's eyes.

Because I have to make this Longer: I'll say that in my opinion this recap dosen't showssome of my favorite parts of the show. This show has a lot of secondary characters that I've forgoten dew to the amount of time it has passed since I saw the show. I would've loved if this recap helped us remeber those side characters that where important in this first season. Also this recap could've done better introducing the new ark which is quite promissing.

In any ... case enjoy the recap my advice is to try and remeber the whole cast (not just only the main ones) I mean Howser, Griamore, Gilthunder, Elein, Helbram, Arthur, King Barthraa and many other holy knights.

This prologue is the ending of the manga, so I've heard but I haven't read the manga. Although I havn't read the manga, watching this alternate ending (technically speaking the "True Ending") was a breathtaking expirience. I loved the old show, and was pretty happy about the ending it had including the second movie, but this prologue hited me in the childhood. The nostalgia of seeing some characters again, the storytelling, the music, the hype for a Sakura comeback, etc.. was almost like when I saw the first part of Digimon Tri. I just can't wait for this new show that's a direct ... sequel to this prologue just keep in mind that the events of episodes 69 and 70 of the old show are still kinda oficial but not entierly, plus the second movie is no longer "the oficial ending". Nothing more to say to my reader other than "Watch it, its good even thoe you're not familiar or a big fan of the show and fans will enjoy it from the second the hit the play button".

When I was going to watch it I thought this would be an Accion with fantasy characters in our modern world and the intro help to solidify that idea. I've never been so wrong, it had nothing to do with the premice I builded up myself. This is a great drama that shows us some amazeing character developments, well scripted interaccions, well made animations and heartbreaking dilemas our leads go through. The thing I enjoyed the most were the characters, I would cheer for them to overcome the situation.

Story: Not a new theme, but a rather relistic aproach to ... the 8 grade syndrome and a great script that kept me at the edge of my nerves wondering what would happen next. Loved it

Characters: Ryouko and Ichiro were very different and similiar at the same time, it felt real how people can relate so much between them and have totaly oposite views of life. Then again to highlight something great this show accomplished not only the relationship they had felt real, Ryouko and Ichiro (in my hummble opinion) were a great balance between realism and anime stereotypes.

If you love realistic dramas with believable characters, great script and a good (probably the sloppiest thing about the movie and it was pretty decent) animation and music this is a movie for you.

2) in this review (BTW my first review) i'll try to highlight what I enjoyed the most while watching this show. To spell my opinion in one sentence "An unsatisfying Ending for a great build-up".

Problems: For starters, the first episodes makes you fell a there is a slow pace and caps feel longer than 25 minutes. I don't mind that slow pace but the show just went from really slow to dam fast (leaving things unexplained). That is a problem most series have, they've got 5 or 6 episodes left to finish the story and just rush it. I ... don't know if this was the case but the last 5 or 6 episodes could've been streched in another 10 and explained some loose ends, give the impact needed to some MAYOR EVENTS and give screantime to side characters that were pulled aside. None the less this were my only real problems with the show.

Story/Pace: The beginin and development of the show where the greatest parts of it, except for one event that happend in the closing of the series that was great too. It had a mixture of mistery and evrey day highschool life, I really liked it beacause it felt different from all those other generic series. Until episode 16 I give this show an 8 (you better be pacient to go past espisode 6) and I liked that part of the show so much I'll leave it as my overall "grade". Why did I enjoyed so much this 2/3 of the show? Theres some serious build-up and not only on the 2 main stories, but on the side characters backstory (some more than others). I read a review that sais something like "It had such a great build up it collapsed on its weight" I think his on point (Dunno which User that said that, sorry), but that just proves the great build-up they've done. If you could just ignore some plot holes and don't think to much about them you can avoid raging with the close-up of the show.

Characters: I like the 2 main leads even though they get a little repetitive in their interactions. There were 3 side characters that at some point of the series got in the spotlight, and in those moments when you get to se this characters backstories and develpment the show was at it greatest. There are some extra characters, that were plain gimmick others just were needed for the story no one was outstanding. Although the show dosn't develops them as much as I'd like, the things the show us and the ones they gives us hints to figure out by ourselves (because they don't spell you what the character is thinking, you've gotta figure it out) was enough to get to understand the important ones. Akiho, Yashio, Furugoori, Airi and Subaru were the real reasons I got throw the whole series. I wanted to see what will happen to them, how will they face the obstacles that life gave them.

If you want to watch this, don't expect a Steins;Gate, an Evangelion or a Fullmetal Alchemist. It's a good show in its own right but its not the grestest show ever, just have that in mind. Lastly try to enjoy what you got and not complain for what you didn't get.
