TLDR: Ending was something be to desired if you're into the life philosophy / realism then you might enjoy this otherwise it's depressing.

3 segments, technically 2.5. Of how this one dude essentially got cuckolded. Bless his heart I hope he finds happiness.
Essentially show is about a short love story where the girl moves on with her life while the guy is unable to move on from the attachment to the original girl.

The cuckold saga
1. by main interests' parents. Main girl moves away because parent's job.
2. by his parents, now our main character moves further away from the main girl.
3. at some point, seems to be ... at chapter 2, our boy lost touch with the original interest based on the scenes from CH3. Those texts were actually to no one. The main girl moves on get married and moved back to Tokyo (unconfirmed hinted city). Since this dude didn't show a shred of interest in the girl from CH2 and how the original girl was moving to some city to cook for some dude. I took it as oh cool they got married, LOL nope. Original girl moves on with her life, this guy is stuck trying to fill the void. He tried to fill it with another girl, didn't work out, it was suggested he started ghosting the girl he was seeing. Eventually guy got fed up with his life, said he can't be bothered anymore, and quit his job which could be interpreted as he is giving up on life. While he was out for a stroll he came across a girl that looked like the original girl, he looked back and waited for the train to pass hoping to see the original girl also turn back, girl seemed like she was but didn't wait for the trains to pass before moving on.

TLDR Good Story up until halfway point story was really good up until halfway point and it just dives off a cliff. At points it was really heart wrenching.

There were only a few minor plot holes. Supporting characters could've been more developed they didn't really contribute to the story aside from the main female lead's friend. The mask maker was kind of a confusing character as the story doesn't really make them a true villain.

Art and sound were good but nothing spectacular or innovative.

I enjoyed the movie up until the story dove off a cliff. This movie is good for killing some time.

Overall concept was good. But after episode 12 it's like the studio let a 12 year old direct the anime. For example, tables stop RPGs, fighting with spears and bows against guns, telling characters to run when the enemy is right in front of them with a gun, when the power was cut electronic medical equipment was clearly still on, and plenty of other nonsensical things. Characters do things that contradicts their established character. So let me rephrase, this anime is a dumpster fire after episode 12. But if you like this anime, you will probably like King's game; a equally trash tier anime.

EDIT: The ... quality just keeps dropping both story and arty wise.

This anime was a ROM-COM with ROM being dominate and having COM sprinkled here and there. This anime was heart wrenching and relatable to the general population. If you like the TV dramas that involve romance you would enjoy the the majority of the episodes. Overall the anime was relatable up until the last few episodes where it broke the immersion of a high school love story where people were over compassionate which led to a mediocre ending that left much to be satisfied. As someone who loves to ship characters the ending completely flopped as there were no developments and you did not see ... them grow. I would recommend Oresuki and SNAFU if you like this series.

Spoilers ahead, not that this movie was enjoyable.

If you enjoy 7 deadly sins, I would not watch this movie. This entire movie felt like an insult to my intelligence. The plot only moves because deus ex machina!!! For the first half of this movie there was a misunderstanding, but the god's decedents are too incompetent to notice. In this entire movie not a single celestial being was shown to be able to use "ARK", yet at the end of the movie all of them (including children) were shown able to use ARK and help seal away a giant monster. The head warrior was a total ... brick, the lion guy was an on going meme, and the tin can guy was useless. For bad guys that are rumored to be able to rival the ten commandments, they were trashed on and killed off in a 30min fight sequence. I also understand this is a movie, so they have a time constriction. It was dreadful sitting through this movie, the entire time I was wondering when it would end.
