That sums it this anime pretty good in one sentence. If you are looking for a somewhat interesting romance anime, this is not it. If you're looking for a comedy this might be for you but the joke gets old pretty fast. The funny part is that the MC can’t seem to tell any lies which is kinda cool and results in some funny scenes. but for the rest it's just the 4 girls meeting the MC instantly falling in love. To sum their personalities up in ... one word each: useless, awkward, tsundere, milf(yes that's a personality stfu). (minor spoiler here) When the MC just met the 3th girl for the first time she offered to pay for his rent, food, power, heating and internet and after that she went sleeping in his garden in the rain while doing squats while recording it and posting it on the internet. Its as if they are all mental asylum escapees, but its comedy afterall haha its fine c:

As for the audio/soundtrack, it was nothing special/pretty bad. The opening was boring and so was the ending/outro. None of the soundtrack stood out; it was just mediocre.

overall I enjoyed some of the funny scenes but it wasn’t funny enough to give it a good score, plot was non-existent, characters are super basic. I would only recommend this anime if you don’t care about plot but like harem and some comedy.

DISCLAIMER: You don’t need to know anything about the board game “go” to watch/enjoy this anime. I really liked this anime while not knowing this game existed before I watched it. Also this review contains minor spoilers from ep 1.

Plot/Story This anime is about the board game “go”. The MC Hikaru finds a go board in his grandfather's house and meets a ghost named Sai that only he can see. The ghost is an ancient go instructor for the Japanese Emperor in the Heian Era. Hikaru knows nothing about the game but lets the sai play by following his instructions. In a go salon he ... met a kid the same age named Akira, he’s a genius at the game for his age. Hikaru shows interest in the game and makes akira his rival, here begins hikaru’s journey in the go world.

Animation/Design I liked the art but nothing too spectacular. I really liked how they animated the way they placed the stones on the field, didn’t know it could be done so cool lol.

Characters I really liked the characters in this anime even though hikaru can be a little annoying but he's just a kid after all, but for the rest you will find yourself completely in sync with Shindou's reactions to other people. Sai was also a cool character and I liked his development later on.

Audio/Soundtrack The sound when the stones hit the field are really satisfying and the bgm really fits in intense games. Also the first 20 seconds of the first ending are really nice, the rest is okay. None of the other openings/endings were that good tbh but for the rest they did great

Overall I really enjoyed this anime even tho i didn't know any of the rules of GO, I did start playing myself though mid anime caus it looked very interesting and i understand a lot more know about it but u dont need to know anything about the game to truly enjoy the anime, The ending satisfying

So I wanted to watch this anime for a while now cause I really like the OST, the only thing holding me back was the rating of the show. I’ve finally decided to watch it and ye… i got what I expected

Story 1/10

It’s a veeery basic plot, you’ve probably seen it a few times before in these “supernatural/superpower” genre anime. The main cast has some type of superpower for some reason almost not explained and they get teleported to another dimension to fight some enemies and come back, that’s what happens in almost every episode. In the beginning, it was kinda interesting but it got repetitive ... very quick, there is a little more development at like episode 10-11 ish but that it

nothing too much to say about the animation. It was… okay, I’m used to this style of animation. I was not impressed, and it didn’t bother me.

Sound 9/10
Oh yes, the music in this show was SUPER good, its the reason i watched this anime in the first plays ^^. My favorite ost was “Satsuki Kakeru's theme - Eye of Aeon (Aeon no Me)”, “11ayes Arranged” and I also liked the OP/ending, it really was the best part ting about the anime lmao

I realy didn’t like any of these characters tbh and the one I did like the most was half a doll AND THAT IS NOT A GOOD THING. The mc is your basic cool/edgy guy and also a white knight at the same time, all he does is simp for the girl he likes and then te rest of the cast is his harem of course -2 characters ig. very very plain characters overall

Conclusion
I would not recommend watching this show for anyone, however, you should listen to the soundtracks it’s prety good.
In the beginning, is was excited to see what this show has to offer but was disappointed the more I got into it. It almost hurt to finish this anime tbh. Didn’t enjoy the story caus it was so poorly explained and didn’t make much sense. I hated the characters. I did like the OST and that is what carried this show for me
