Both take place in a world that is overrun by these huge monsters, with humanity at the brink of extinction. In both series, the remainder of humanity is living in a closed off area surrounded by a barrier/wall that keeps the giant monsters away. The main characters in both are a group of people who try to fight for survival against all odds and destroy all the monsters that 'took their freedom away from them'. If you like one you might not necessarily love the other, but its possibly still worth checking out to see something with a pretty similar concept.

The android in both anime take the appearance of a cute young girl. Lots of dramatic and sad moments, if you enjoyed one of these anime I highly recommend the other.

Fate/Stay Night is about a bunch of legendary heroes from throughout history being summoned to modern day Japan to duke it out in a big magical battle. Re:Creators is similar but instead of people from our history being summoned, its about a bunch of fictional characters from anime and videogame worlds being summoned to modern day Japan and, of course, they all start fighting each other.

The general concept is pretty different. KanColle is about a bunch of middle school girls fighting to save the world and Love Live is about a bunch of middle school girls who become idols to save their school from shutting down, however both of these anime are still very similar in other ways. Both take place in a school setting with a large cast of characters consisting of only females. The comedy styles of both anime are very identical and different characters feel like they can fit in easily with any of the two anime.

Ookamikakushi was a sad attempt by Ryukishi07 to relive the success of Higurashi no naku koro ni by literally copy/pasting the entire plot and only making small tweaks to the storyline. If you're looking for something similar to Higurashi then look no further than Ookamikakushi... Just don't expect too much from it. Similarities: - Takes place in small rural town - main dude moves to town - everyone is nice to him at first but some people be actin p sus - really clingy girl that likes the dude a lot (Rena/Isuzu) - the only people who hang around the dude are girls - mystery about the town's history/traditions - both have a festival with strange origins Basically the plot is the exact same for the most part.

Both are about a guy who goes through multiple time loops where the people around him are repeatedly murdered over again and the main character tries to find how/why they're dying and the culprit behind their deaths. Both contain lots of horror and mystery elements. Particularly, Arc 4 of Re:Zero has many similar aspects to Umineko and I believe the former was directly influenced by the latter.

Both are adaptations of CLAMP works. Both anime have similar concepts about destiny/revenge/changing ones fate. Both adaptations rush through a story that can't possibly be told completely in the time given, resulting in lots of cut content from the manga/original scenes that change the outcome of the story to fit into a shorter narrative.

In Kimi no Koto ga Daidaidaidaidaisuki na 100-nin no Kanojo the protagonists "soul mates" will die if they don't fall in love with him and in Date A Live the fate of the world is at stake. Each arc is about the dude meeting a new girl who he tries to make fall in love with him. Kimi no Koto ga Daidaidaidaidaisuki na 100-nin no Kanojo is more comedy based while Date A Live follows a more serious storyline.

But, obviously, it turns out that the dude is actually the strongest chad around and the only reason he is considered a loser is because of le flawed system and society. And of course every girl within a 100km radius is in love with the dude (its an anime okay). Both anime also have fairly complex magical and scientific systems as well and follow similar plot structures. If you love one, you're bound to like the other.

Bruh they're literally the same anime. Dude befriends 100 different girls who are all extremely violent and get jealous way too easily. All the girls are in love with him of course, and are always competing for his affection. Obviously the dude is completely oblivious to this fact (he is either extremely extremely dense or the biggest fucking troll I still can't tell). A girl could literally walk straight up to him and confess their undying love to his face and he will still genuinely believe she just thinks of him as a friend. MC dudes catchphrase in both animes is basically "no way, she doesn't like me" <- he thinks stuff like this every five seconds pretty much.

Date A Live III

Everyone say it with me now: JC👏Staff👏butchers👏yet👏another👏classic👏light👏novel👏series But in all seriousness: Index and DAL follow similar plot structures. Each season is split into multiple "arcs" which follow the protagonist as he tries to save every girl he comes across and gets them to join his ever-growing harem. The protagonist of both shows are your standard typical anime "nice guy" guy who is always morally right and will always try to come up with ways to solve every problem while trying to save EVERYONE, including those that are trying to kill him. Date A Live III and Toaru Majutsu no Index III were the long-waited sequels to two classic and beloved anime. However, due to many nonsensical decisions and "lack of skill" from the people working on both shows, they both ended up being quite disappointing for most fans of the series. The art quality fluctuates between fine, barely passable and straight up terrible at random moments, the animations are either extremely lazy or virtually non-existent and the story is "adapted" in such a way that makes it almost impossible to understand a lot of what is happening in either series without knowledge from the source material. JC Staff skips through content that should have been at least 5 episodes long in three, two, sometimes ONE episode... which is completely illogical no matter how you put it. In no situation should you be allowed to cram a 320 page long book into a 23 minute long anime episode. In any case, if you DID genuinely love the third season of DAL or Index, and none of the issues mentioned above bothered you at all, then I highly recommend checking out the other, because there's a huge chance you can end up loving the that too. And once you get passed all the terrible production issues, they really are very enjoyable shows :D

Both Strike the Blood and Date A Live follow a similar format where each "arc" follows the protagonist meeting a new female character whom he tries to save and after each girls respective arc they slowly start to fade away into the background and their only defining character trait is that they now love the protagonist, which becomes more and more apparent as the seasons go on and the dudes harem grows at an alarming pace. Both series are fun action-y type shows with a lot of fanservice and new girls every few episodes, I recommend both shows to anyone who is into that sorta stuff.
