Similarly Cromartie also has the look of an animated comic book rather than an anime except it IS a proper anime series unlike the former. The way (pun intended) it delivers its jokes are similar too.

Just like SC this show is a samurai action slice of life adventure tho not as good. Best thing about it is the animation (considering its time) and the fight scenes. Very good choreography. Also you might find the comedy a bit annoying but all in all, they're VERY similar. It's one of those series that is just decent. Not too good not too bad you watch it just to pass time. It's only 13 eps.
